Question: Does a 10-2 team make the SEC Championship game, lose and still make the playoffs?

What if UK goes 10-2 and makes the league championship game. Then loses and ends with a record of 10-3. Does UK then make the playoffs? This scenario can be very, very likely to happen. Not necessarily just UK winning 10, but a very good chance the second place team in the conference will have 2 losses.
