Obviously I'm not predicting that he goes out and wins the competition, but it's worth mentioning -- indeed, we have to -- that Mark Stoops says Kentucky needs there to be a competition at quarterback. Was he just saying he wants it because it pushes everyone? I'm sure some will read it that way. But I will tell you, there are some who believe it is too early to count Barker out.
