You really need to get better and describing the context with your new posts. This is about as vague as they come, but I'm guessing he was interviewed and he said he thinks he will be the best because past PGs couldn't shoot?

Green said most of Cals point guards, minus Ulis, were bigger and couldn't shoot very well. Said he hoped to come in and be known as a consistently good shooter
minus BK and Ulis we have not had a guy running the point that was a very good/great shooter
From what I've seen/read, he's not much of a shooter himself. His shot looked passable in the practices yesterday, but certainly not anything to brag about.

Nothing wrong with that quote. Most of Cal's PG's have been taller and non-shooters. Green hopes he will be a better, more consistent shooter. I'd be worried if he didn't feel that way.

I'm 100% OK with that quote. Most of our PG's under Cal weren't known for their outside shot, rather size, athletic ability, or court leadership (the latter being what is most desired in PGs). Wall, Teague, Andrew Harrison, Briscoe, and Fox would agree with this.

He is acting like we had a great shooting PG. To be honest...the competition is rather weak.

You might want to check where you got your info on Green's shooting. He is more than a capable shooter from three. He will average over 35% from three in my opinion

Not the most PC or tactful thing to say, but he's a kid. Gonna make mistakes. Not going to crucify him over it.

I can't believe we're already starting to crap on players who aren't even here yet.
I hate when we recruit players that are confident in their abilities. Everybody knows all players are worse than those that came before.
We've had shooters at the point guard spot, just not a lot of makers. Let's hope Green is a maker.
Id say closer to 40%..I dont think he will take a lot, but he can shoot..I look for him to be a big ast man

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this statement, its true outside of Brandon Knight.
I like the way he talked in the interview. IF you read the all of the article he wants to be the guard that everyone wants to be compared to. Nothing wrong with that.
