I never understood why parents try and be cute with the spelling of their kid's name. I have a family member who's name is pronounced Amy, but it is spelled Ammie. To me that should be pronounced Am·my. Even my phone pronounces it other than intended when I use voice dialling. I could possibly see spelling it Aimme. It at least looks right when pronounced Aim·me.

I guess I am just more of a traditionalist and prefer my Jamal to be spelled Jamal (Mashburn, Murray, Bradley) or even Jamaal (Magloire). I'll get over it though and mean no offense to our new edition. Thank God Rob Bromley is no longer calling games. I still have nightmares of Jules Camaro.
