MARK STOOPS Q&A:

* That was a good game to get a lot of our players some reps who haven't had many this season.

* Sloppy at times, but did what we had to do for the majority of the game.

* Good to see the offense score every drive with Cutter in there the second half. I know people will get excited about that and we think he's a special young man, but I want to point out how tough Brock is. He didn't get cleared to play until yesterday. A team guy. Wanted to go out and help his team. A lot of guys would not have played. I commend him for grinding.

* On what he liked about Cutter Boley... The poise. Nothing rattled him at all. Very patient in the pocket, then moved when he had to. Made good decisions, threw the ball well.

* The underthrows by BVG in first half were not a side effect of his head injury, Stoops said, just late on both of them.

* Stoops says ILB D'Eryk Jackson is out for the season with an injury.

* Pop Dumas-Johnson just "wasn't right" this week. Couldn't go.

* JJ Weaver is expected to be back.

* On Wilcox shining again... He's always been really positive, a good attitude. There's no denying that running ability.

* Asked would they consider using Boley for the final two games... Has too much respect for Brock and what he's done for us to just say that, "but we evaluate things all of the time." Still a lot to play for with two big games left.

* Obviously, we were long overdue for this. We needed a victory today, and to be able to play without a bunch of guys who were not 100% is good. Hopefully, that will help us down the stretch with two important games left.

* Likes what they're seeing from Gilmore. Really talented kid with some toughness to him.
