In my opinion, this feels like Mark Stoops' final year at Kentucky. I've watched every post-game press conference since his arrival, and he always had fire and passion. But tonight, all I saw was defeat and an effort to avoid making headlines.
It seems like he’s been holding things together and quiet this offseason just long enough to secure contract extensions for his Youngstown connections before making his exit-one last payday.
I suspect he’ll either step down or retire, partially blaming the lack of NIL support and Kentucky's inability to keep up in the SEC as key factors.
