Possible Black Out for Georgia Game?

Just received an email that the idea of a "black out" for UK @ Georgia is being discussed. Possible "red outs" for Bama, Missouri, and South Carolina. Just a little note to pass along, and I understand it's a bit random.

Also still have my two season tickets available with parking pass if anybody is interested. ;-)

I can't be the only one that thinks a "red out" would be a silly idea.

Am I missing something? Their main school color is red.

Georgia sometimes does blackouts for their last conference home game. I believe it's just the fans and not the team.

pretty weird to sorta announce a blackout game but then the team might not participate? But then again we did that exact same thing for the bizarre Miss St game Halloween 2009.

No idea, I am just alone for the ride. I have tried to give advice on several occasions but no one seemed interested in listening. But the games that are "redouts" the stands are noticeable much redder. Lots of our fans wear white and when it gets cooler they switch to black. So I guess they are wanting to get people on the same page for games. Don't know if the team will be involved if the blackout game becomes real or not. I do like the red pants, white jersey look, but the black I can take it or leave it.

But on a sidenote, that chrome UK helmet with the blue UK on it last year was complete awesome for an alternative uniform. I like UK's blue uniforms too, but feel about the same for UK's black ones and I do UGA's, not my first choice for either. That blue is an awfully good looking blue.
