From talking to a friend of mine, Brock Vandagriff is most likely headed to Lexington. Things could change, but as of today he is leaning towards UK. He would be a big get for the Cats.
Looks like I left something out of my post. LOLInformative post
My bad, yes, Brock Vandagriff. LOLDoes he have a name or symbol like Prince?
I hope he's a big get. But how do we know the get is big when we get him as a get? Thanks. From talking to a friend of mine, Brock Vandagriff is most likely headed to Lexington. Things could change, but as of today he is leaning towards UK. He would be a big get for the Cats.
It’s hard to get good ones unless they come out of Kentucky. Those are few and far between.Does UK not develope any of the QB’s that they sign?
How many starting quarterbacks are transfers across all CFB now? How many of the drafted qbs by the NFL the last 5 yrs transferred? How many Heismans winners were transfers?Does UK not develope any of the QB’s that they sign?

Georgia had some blowouts this year- did he play much and, if so, any stats? I thought Beck was going to the NFL, which really made me scratch my head about Vandagriff. If Beck stays, I can see moving on.
Eight games I think. No real stats to speak of. I think I remember that he had two touchdowns. To lazy to look it up. He's kind of a unknown.Georgia had some blowouts this year- did he play much and, if so, any stats? I thought Beck was going to the NFL, which really made me scratch my head about Vandagriff. we got Leary. He was pretty well sought after I’d have to imagine. If we’re 13th it of 14 in the SEC in NIL how are we getting a former 5 start QB recruit from Georgia? Is he attracted to the slowest paced offense in the country? Why don’t these schools with more NIL money and no QB want him?
Because we can pay competitive NIL for 10-15 guys. Problem is the top level SEC schools buy 40-50.If we’re 13th it of 14 in the SEC in NIL how are we getting a former 5 start QB recruit from Georgia? What is competitive NIL? How much does a player of his caliber get?Because we can pay competitive NIL for 10-15 guys. Problem is the top level SEC schools buy 40-50.
Uk can’t land qb’s with a high enough talent level to begin with. The kids we get have a lower ceiling. I think the kid from LCA will be good in a couple years.Does UK not develope any of the QB’s that they sign?
Patrick Towles, Drew Barker, Will Levis (currently starting on Sundays), Devin Leary, Cutter Boley, and Stone Saunders all have, or had, fairly high ceilings. One could make an argument for Terry Wilson as well.Uk can’t land qb’s with a high enough talent level to begin with. The kids we get have a lower ceiling. 7 figures for the main commodities..What is competitive NIL? How much does a player of his caliber get?
Correct. He was arguably the crown jewel of the transfer class, although maybe Hartmann was. But someone else said we can't attract talent or a ceiling.Vandergriff was really never a great fit for Kirby. They don’t really care about a big arm as they like to control the ga

Yeah. Clearly we can. Just not at the volume some can.Correct. He was arguably the crown jewel of the transfer class, although maybe Hartmann was. But someone else said we can't attract talent or a ceiling.
NopeDoes UK not develope any of the QB’s that they sign?
If Vandergriff enters next year, Boley the following year, and Saunders the next year, I think that's plenty good. Yes, Ohio St. will double it, but, ultimately, it only gives them more depth and margin for error. I'm more interested in separation from South Carolina and Missouri and Louisville than Ohio State, anyway.Yeah. Clearly we can. Just not at the volume some can.
Sweet if true. From talking to a friend of mine, Brock Vandagriff is most likely headed to Lexington. Things could change, but as of today he is leaning towards UK. He would be a big get for the Cats.
I agree with your point but Drew Barker was vastly overrated coming out of high school.Patrick Towles, Drew Barker, Will Levis (currently starting on Sundays), Devin Leary, Cutter Boley, and Stone Saunders all have, or had, fairly high ceilings. One could make an argument for Terry Wilson as well.
If you'd like to go back a few more years, how about Couch, Woodson, and Lorenzen? And how did a lesser program in our state end up with the likes of Lamar Jackson? Ceiling, my ass, talent, my ass. No excuses, please.
Once again, Drew Barker's career was cut short by a career ending back injury. Because of that we never got to see how he could develop. Whether or not he was overrated is beside the point.I agree with your point but Drew Barker was vastly overrated coming out of high school.
