My guess is he already has an idea and silent agreements out there. He did say “we are recruiting” implying he isn’t entirely a one man show right now.

This was more of a Pep Rally. I am not mocking that, It was needed desperately to get everything back in order for him to start getting to work. Now that's over. It's time to have some info break this week (think we'll get it as week progresses as Elite Blue mentioned above).

Pope only have 4 kids is a miracle. Surprised he's not up to 10 by now. Then again having that many girls would likely change my mind too.
That was the only time i had a tear come in my eye was when he introduced his girls. Lost my on daughter in a car wreck in 94 she was only 19. He is truly blessed.

He also spoke of how they were going to have a GM position to help him manage NIL which I thought was interesting. If we have a dedicated GM for NIL, and that BYU assistant takes a slot (can’t remember the name but he’s marketed as a great recruiter and offensive mind), then we probably just need a defensive specialist assistant and another recruiter assistant. Maybe have one recruiter assigned to high school and the other assigned the portal.

I'll never forget the day we found out one of the kids from our church died in a car wreck. I was 12. He was 19. We found out right before church that Sunday morning. That church had NEVER been so quiet on a Sunday before. The air was just sucked out of the place. We all were sad. It was the first time someone really close to me in age died. Didn't know what to think or feel.
All that to say, I don't know how that feels and never want to. But I've seen the effects. And it is horrid.

It will be interesting to see who takes that role as a 'GM' Pope referred to hiring. Reports were saying it was the Cody Fueger assistant on BYU coming over. Supposed to be a good up and comer.
