Louisville’s big rise is a testament to the regionalism of poll voters. That plus the envy/hatred of the SEC nationally are the reason that three loss SEC teams will not be given precedence over a two loss ACC team for the playoffs, even when expanded to 12 teams. The inability of Stoops to recruit a single quarterback who has been successful is almost beyond comprehension. The NIL system will not be kind to UK. the coal industry is gone and no well off supporters who can fund it each and every year.

Pretty sure there's a few dozen NBA players that could fund it by themselves.

It is tough for someone my age, that has been a fan of UK football since the mid 1940s to comprehend the thoughts of someone like you. To call Kentucky fans mediocre is a disgrace to your degree, at least the one you claim to have from 1988. Our fans have been behind this team forever, have watched highs (not as high as some) and lows (lower than most) but always come back. The people that would criticize our fans and call them mediocre because we have not won a national championship lack the reality of a few things: 1. College football is a game and being a fan of a college team should not define you as a person. It seems to me your issue is that your personality defines you as a UK football fan and that makes you feel inferior to fans of the Alabamas and Georgias of the world; 2. Very few teams have regular national success. Since the four team playoff began, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Clemson, and Notre Dame have pretty much dominated it as far as making it to the playoff. That does not make us weak compared to the rest of the country; 3. As a fan for over 70 years I don't need some smart ass piss ant tell me what it takes to be a fan that is not "mediocre." I don't need some smart ass drunk kid in the stands to yell at me for not standing up on third down. I've put in my time. I enjoy my University's football team. The University that I have two degrees from, that two of my kids have degrees from and 3 of my grandkids have degrees from. We get together as a family and watch and enjoy the games. We get pissed when we lose, and happy when we win, but would never be so arrogant to criticize another fan for not being a dick about us losing a game to the number 1 team in the country. This is about UK football, which is over ran at the moment with mediocre fans, happy with mediocre results from a mediocre team, that is coached by a coach that’s mediocre, but he is paid premium money.

If you can’t accept anything but being #1 you are going to be disappointed a lot.

And if you have misrepresented your educational background as an LPN, or as a Registered Nurse, I feel it necessary under my professional ethics to warn you of KRS 314, et. seq.

Sure, “UKAlum88,” is an anonymous “handle,” but I assume you have used some verifiable information to gain registration on this site, possibly using your own name, and even if not, a searchable IP address, etc. all of which are known by the moderators of this site. Presumably, this very post of mine is a representation made to the owners/moderators of this site that I am a practicing attorney.

Let me be clear: falsely claiming a generic undergraduate degree in agriculture, education, political science, etc., is not violative of criminal statutes, to my knowledge.

But my claim of a Law Degree and a Law License is a direct representation of a Licensed Professional status in Kentucky, and it’s misrepresentation is criminal. I am registered on this site under my full name, and have no fear of my representation of my professional status, as my local Circuit Judges and the Kentucky Bar Association are OK with it.

If the Administrators wanted my Bar registration number or a photo of my Kentucky Law License or Law Degree, I would be glad to provide it to them.

So, UKAlum88, in all seriousness, you have the right to remain silent, and any misstatements made by you, regarding your professional status as an LPN, or Registered Nurse could be used by a prosecutorial authority against you in a Court of Law.

I see you self-edited your lengthy quasi-medical recommendations ending with “reach out if interested, I’m serious,” and claiming association with Central Baptist Hospital.
