My position is entirely conditional.

For example, if Cal brings back Sheppard, Z, Bradshaw, Wagner, and Edwards, then ends up signing Dybantsa, Acuff, Wilson, Thomas, Johnson, etc. in that '25 class, I'd be willing to see how these next two or three years go.

I'm hesitant to jettison Cal because I think it would alienate us from our Kentucky NBA guys, and thus negatively affect recruiting for years to come.

If Cal flames out early this March and ends up losing 80-90% of his roster, I'd be done with him at that point.

If C.M. Newton were still the AD, Couch would have been burned on State Street years ago... [laughing]

It will never get better...he is forever stuck in his narcissistic mind, he is unable and unwilling to change.

But, this s just the radical board. My dad who is afraid of computers and 87 says that Cal has handcuffed the State. He would also vote “Yep”
the facebook crowd would be noticeably more supportive

I was thinking about this a few days ago with C.M. Newton. There is no way a former basketball coach turned AD would tolerate this , and you can bet C.M. would be in Cal's office telling him to stop playing those b.s. substitution patterns.

I'd also bet C.M. would be at practice seeing what is going on

I answered nope, because I support the program. However, if he wants to leave, I'm certainly fine with it.
If those in charge decide to make a coaching change, I'm fine with that, too. It may well be time for it.

C.M. would have never signed him to the university indentured Brainfart contract...

It may well be time for it? It’s past time, if he didn’t have that bs contract he would have been fired for his 9 win season. He uses excuses, just like this year. We didn’t have our full team, we didn’t play together enough, blah, blah, blah.

My son risked his life serving 6 years in the navy. He got out Dec 23. He served so cal could take a knee. He served so I could say screw cal. I am done with cal. I hope he leaves
Amen I know from a great source that if Mr wildcat would have still been on the bench he would have resigned over cal taking a knee and trashing those that gave the ultimate sacrifice so he could have a coaching job what disgrace and ever since he did that his record has tanked
