JFCats will be back to being an insufferable hater as soon as UK starts getting good again (unfortunately this won’t be while Cal is here) as he is literally the definition of a contrarian.

which makes his shtick even weirder and more awkward. Trolling? Yeah I get that- it can be funny.

But JF is the type of person...like as an actual human being who gets off (sexually) on being a contrarian. Up until this season he was very aggressive and very vocal about his disdain for Cal and our teams most years. I even called him out for being a constant hater and Debbie downer. Others did too. He was always always always posting negative $hit in the game threads, making hater threads and genuinely all out bashing Cal and the team. He also used to have “conservative” takes and viewpoints on a lot of things.

But now all of a sudden he is just as rude and aggressive but in a Cal defending way. He is the exact same insufferable taint that he was before but flipped, along with calling everyone rednecks etc.

Which means...as a person he either enjoys it or he’s so miserable in his own life that he finds pleasure in being a contrarian which is eerie and weird AF.

I am guessing he is lonely and probably lacking physical intimacy and companionship? This certainly isn’t the case for all but typically a google image searched scantily clad women as an avatar pic (for years running now) is a dead giveaway of being lonely/ single/ incel vibes.

I could definitely be wrong tho so who knows 🤷🏽‍♂️
I suspect he is never brave enough to disagree with someone in the real world so he overcompensates for it here . Probably was bullied a lot as kid and was suppressed by his mother and possibly his wife .This quite possibly is the only therapy the poor guy has . Maybe it’s all that keeps him going.

Not trying to be rude, honestly. But what do you epxect people to feel when Uk is at a 100 year level bad this year?
Why can’t people see that Cal has worked hard to try to build us a team every year?
That we competed on a yearly basis and became good enough to win. Tell me you wouldn’t have wanted to see what last years team would’ve done if they played the tournament.
This is a terrible season, still isn’t time to fire Cal. He just needs a chance to adjust.

You’re missing the point. The man thinks he’s bigger / better than UK and it’s fans. He’s too hard headed (and ignorant) to change. He’s lost his damn mind and needs to go. It’s not going to get any better.

Doesn't it seem like whenever Cal has a bad season he follows it up with 4-5 really good or great seasons? He went 22-16 at Memphis when talent wise they should have been a top 2 seed at worst. Following that season Memphis went 33-4, 33-4, 38-2, and 33-4 with 2 elite 8s, national championship runner up, and a sweet 16. At UMass he the season before their 5 year run he went 20-13 (Yes he was building it, but they imo underachieved a bit. He followed that with 30-5, 24-7, 28-7, 29-5, and 35-2 with a sweet 16, elite 8, and the final four. He came into UK blazing, but he went 21-12 in 2012-2013 and followed that season up 29-11, 38-1, 27-9, 32-6, 26-11, 30-7, 25-6 with NCAA Runner up, final four, 2 elite 8s, and a sweet 16.

I'm by no means saying what he's done this season is acceptable, but it just seems every once in a while he has a wake up season where his ego gets put in check and he goes on a good 4-5 year stretch. Obviously the SEC NEEDS UK to be UK. Some of these other SEC fans may take pleasure in UK being down but a lot of us don't.

Anyway just a thought.

Someone tell me who we could get that would be better..Cal didn't forget how to coach. put a PG on this team and we're top 10...He's still the guy that went to the F4 in 4 of 5 years had a team good enough to win it every year but maybe 3 counting this one.13,16,21..Be careful what you wish for we could be Indiana

Could it get any worse than 5-11?

This chump has only shown up for games over the past 4-5 years. It’s so apparent he does zero prep, development, or adjustments.

Well he hasn’t had a good season in 4 years

73.5% of respondents say yes.

I thought it was only a couple of people, sunshine pumpers!?

Yes I am, but…I am still supporting this team and hoping can finish season with a good outcome.

No, I’m not. I know I’m in the minority here, but that’s okay. I genuinely believe we would have made a deep tournament run with the squad we had last year. This year has just been shit all the way around and I’m ready for it to be over. Personally, I’m giving him another year and if it looks the same, my tune will change.
Thank you sir, another please

I"ve been done with him for awhile

but there isn't a coach out there UK could legitimately hire that I would be excited about as his replacement

All the names mentioned are just going to be improvement on Cal's worst years, but they won't match his best

there are only two names, both associated with the NBA that would get me excited about UK in the short term.
