So it's anecdotal then. Just a correlation that they died WITH "the flu or covid."

Guess I should put a laughing emoji, as you have done when I talked about people I know personally who died or nearly died from getting the not-vaccine for covid....

Unless they are conservative or related to one who talks about it. So, you're a hypocritical pos and not just an ashole. Got it.

Like I said, you're anti-science and an anti-vaxxer according to these statements. Why aren't you "following the science" there? They're safe and effective, so you say, so why have you out your children at risk?

Yes. This is EXACTLY how your bullsht works when it gets handed right back to you.
I would imagine that a kid or two dies every year in Kentucky from said illnesses. It's heartbreaking that it happens, but improbable that your kid is that statistic. You have every right to do the laughing emoji, but I'm not peddling anti-vaccine nonsense that you regularly spew when dealing with them. You think anyone has second thought about getting the smallpox vaccine? My dad still has the scar from that, but its a necessary evil that help eradicate a terrible illness. I wish we as a society could have done the same with polio.

I feel terrible for anyone that dies of a communicable disease, especially those that are unable to tolerate the vaccines. That's why it was bad taste to vilify the covid vaccine and those that refused to take it. That sort of vitriol should be saved for the immigrants bringing deadly diseases over and the people that choose not to vaccinate against more gnarly diseases.

I choose not to get the flu vaccine because of its low efficacy, even though the vaccine has shown to lessen symptoms. I don't get the covid vaccine because I am relatively young and I hate needles. I got the TDAP booster when my son was born and if I ever need a booster for anything else that has a legitimate chance to seriously impact my children, i'll get those.

I honestly believe I'm witnessing mental illness at this point. Who the hell is commiting genocide or war crimes, you psychotic lunatic?
Do you live under a rock?
Trump is repeatedly telling millions of Palestinian people that they no longer have rights to their property and they have to relocate to another country whether they like it or not.
And if you think that is a viable plan that is ok to do then you are a psychotic Nazi ethnic cleanser.
Btw..Any "Big, Beautiful Hotels" Trump builds there will be car bombed daily. He's an idiot with less than zero knowledge about the history of that piece of land.

They need to go to jail for a min of 10 years.
More BS and lies.
"Garcia said the city has never paid luxury rates. The vast majority are outside Manhattan, and the government has paid on average $152 a night for rooms, according to a 2024 city comptroller report. In comparison, 5-star hotels in Manhattan for the coming weekend run from $400 a night to well over $1,000."

Yep. It is about 3 miles from some commercial property I own and am trying to sell.

I know two farmers that went in together to raise 50 acres. Bylaw, you are not allowed to apply any chemicals(herbicides, pesticides, fungicides) unless that crop is listed on the product label.

Odd crops, not varieties within a single crop, are the last two make it on a label. They might not ever make it on a label. The guys I know had a huge crew of H2As to hoe(weed) that crop all summer. All of that weekly payroll and no sales to pay for until harvest. They were led to believe the pie in the sky payout would make the numbers work.

At the end of the harvest, there wasn't a buyer. They eventually sold some of the crop a year later. By then, it was in poor quality. What was sold were pennies on the dollar compared to projection two years previous.

Neither are farming today.

Hemp never made sense to me. If there was demand for it, why would you grow a labor intensive crop in the US? When a crop isn't grown where labor is cheap, that ought to be a red flag. Hemp isn't a perishable, like a fruit or vegetable. It's use is more akin to cotton. We wouldn't grow cotton here if we had H2As working the fields.

This is fascism....

Essentially, yes except the SCOTUS has no power over the POTUS , but the POTUS has no authority over the SCOTUS. As coequal branches of Govt they have no authority over the other.
Under the scenario you're describing the POTUS could shutdown every Federal courthouse in America, just eliminate the ability for Judges to hold court. Same thing is happening with these rulings, only it'd be like the aid to the Atty General shutting them down.

Impeachment and removal by Congress is the answer if the POTUS is in the wrong.
Are fed courthouses under the authority of the Executive Branch or the USSC?

I thought courts ruled years ago that the Prez couldn't impound Congress-authorized expenditures. No?
Congress passed the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 in response to the controversy. Title X in the act is commonly referred to as the Impoundment Control Act (or ICA), and it requires the president to report to Congress when he impounds funds as a deferment (or a temporary delay) or a recission (a permanent cancellation) of spending.

Biden was spouting BS to make himself look better. He did stop the specific payments the SCOTUS told him to stop. He then started forgiving different payments under a different category called the SAVE plan.
"The Biden administration then moved forward with the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) plan."

"The SAVE plan does not provide immediate loan forgiveness but an income-driven repayment (IDR) that reduces monthly payments and the total years you have to pay before remaining balances are forgiven, most applicable to low to middle-income borrowers".

Those Dems advocating for ignoring the Supreme Court are idiots.

When vh crawls out of Mitch's anus, maybe he can tell us what McConnell was doing with the money
You're the one claiming he was doing this that or the other. Why can't you fully explain it in detail? Find someone else to carry your water pail.

On one hand, I'm surprised that seemingly every other day there is a new discovery of wasted tax dollars on BS that 80% of Americans would NEVER vote for, especially if the choice was the BS versus American citizens. We're talking, usually, 10s of millions of dollars in scheme after scheme that is purely stealing from the US Treasury coffers. And know-nothings from the Dem side foaming at the mouth, desperate to shut DOGE down lest their graft and corruption is uncovered.

On the other hand, I'm not surprised that a $6.5T budget includes an enormous amount of waste, fraud and corruption. It is surprising that it's taken this long for anyone to give a big enough sh!t about it to identify it and attempt to eliminate it.

The only conclusions that makes any sense to me are either 1) the leviathan known as the US Government is so massive that it's uncontrollable, and/or 2) players in both parties were stuffing tax dollars into their pockets as fast as they could and didn't want the gravy train to be derailed.

I can't wait to see what the audit of the DoD and SSA/Medicare digs up. I would be very surprised if >$1T of waste isn't identified. If DOGE is as effective as it seems to be, our country could possible see a balanced budget or an annual deficit only a few % points of the total vs $1-$2T every single year.
