My only exception is puberty blockers under the care of a doctor with parental consent and a therapist's services.
To me, that respects individual rights as well as health and safety of a suicidal minor.
It also keeps the child from needing trans related surgery on bones/face/voice later if they do decide to transition as an adult.
I also don't believe trans males should be able to compete against natural females in competitive sports. It's an unfair advantage.... especially if they have gone thru puberty before starting their transition.
My views are far from extreme imo.
There are very few breast augmentations for minor females, Period. But half of those cases are to correct deformities. A friends daughter recently is a data point on the list. Her issue was she grew like size H Cup by the time she was 16. So she had surgery to reduce them. So anyone who would question or lump all of those very small number into a false narrative of vanity boob jobs is mentally ill and a pervert. Are there a few, like a fraction of a percent? Yes. I can say that of that fraction of a percent there are exactly NONE being pushed on the 17yo by her High School councilor or her parents.
