Was reading an article the other day about the Biden admin placing some obese woman from the Kamala campaign into a role that they’d argue can’t be fired by Trump.

Aside from the bullshit of them planting someone, that person deserves to be fired simply for being such a loser they’d allow themself to be used as a pawn in the political game.

The sole reason they were hired in that role is so the Dems can sue Trump when he fires her on day 1. It’s like the lunatic lady who made up the stories about Cavanaugh, or the crazy lady who ripped the plot of a law and order episode to make up a story about Trump.

These people are such goddam losers, yet such important cogs in the democrat machine.
Move the position to Ukon Alaska. If they want to keep their job then move just like tons of Americans have to do every day.

I think Bessent ends up being the star of the cabinet. I've heard several people who were skeptical of him became huge fans after talking to him. Super smart dude and fairly based politically. He definitely sees some of the problems and isn't just "saying the right thing".
It also shows the difference between Republicans and democrats.

If he was a Democrat nominee all we would be hearing about is how he's a gay dude. Yet nothing, and we don't care, bc we want qualified ppl, not just ppl that can check boxes.

What's the non-starter is parents needing to tolerate public school systems incompetence unless they can afford to do otherwise. Why that's acceptable to you is disgusting. Ad nauseum ain't going away.
There’s no way to determine the efficacy of private schools in this state because they don’t take the same assessments. However, there’s plenty of data to show that most private and voucher have little effect on performance enhancement on the students that go there from other states.
It wouldn't be raining at 24 degrees.
Inclement weather is what I was referring to.

I get the feeling the warnings of terrorist attacks caused this more than the weather.
If anything, they recognized how small the outside crowd was actually going to be (Regardless of tickets authorized.) & didn't want to be shown up by Obama's largest ever crowd size for a second time. But of course super-MAGA you would claim to feel that way. LMAO.

I'll go with that by letting only 1K people into the Rotunda, Trump can keep it as elite as possible while the working men & women who he claims he loves & who were taking off work & paying to come & see him get screwed over. Who cares though. Suckers!

Libs need to unwad their panties about the Inauguration being indoors.

It likely has as much to do with being easier to secure than the weather.

The Left has been praying and hoping for a Trump murder for a long time. They’ve even come close to getting it.
Want Civil War? Murder Trump on Inauguration Day and that will happen.

We aren't building starter homes either. 1br and 1 bath homes for people starting out. Everything built now is 3br 2 bath or bigger.

Just saw one go on the market in Lexington for 220k. 1B 1BA. What's sad is that most can't afford a 150k starter home, much less a 220k. There also isn't the return on those 1B 1BA that you used to get because they sit on the market longer with the higher valuation.

Truly first time homebuyers that don't have help from the parents ALREADY couldn't afford a down payment, but now their closing costs are higher, and their payment with PMI just isn't possible. Add to that LOANS ARE NO LONGER as CUSTOMIZABLE for situations as they used to be. Can't do a "low closing cost loan" if you don't offer it to everyone, but not everyone is in the same boat.

Builders also aren't building as many multifamily properties as before. Theres too much competition from apartment and other rentals to bother with it.

There's simply not the profit margin in those as their used to be because land/development prices have shot up, and the loans lower end buyers need are a complete PITA to get past appraisal and inspections. Better to build higher on the same footprint or build on larger lots for a premium price point.

It's also hard to keep laborers, and keep costs down per property, and meet deadlines.

People are putting larger down payments and having to jump through much fewer hoops on non-starter home price points and floor plans, so there's less lending risk and quicker, more hassle free processing of the loans. A buddy just told me it took as many as 6 months after completion to close a new build starter home that had a contract on it well before it was finished, and that was 5 years ago. Prices have since approx doubled on that price point, leading to fewer prime, eligible buyers.

At those price points, it's so much cheaper to rent an apartment in some places that people won't pull the trigger on a purchase, but the rents are high enough that they really can't save for a down payment like they could 10 yrs ago. Now that COL is so high and wages are no where near responding, it's not worth it for most builders

First of all….Im not MAGA. I’m just anti Liberal.

Second…please don’t deny that the Left wants him dead. You will look foolish.

Sometimes I think you are here just to troll. I already know your schtick is to be a contrarian. But whatever.
Where did I say I don't think many on the Left want him dead?

Many here claim that Trump is looking out for the common man and then he pulls this schtick, showing his true colors. I don't want them to forget this phony act.

BTW, since it's too cold at 20-25F to stand outside for 5 minutes to be inaugurated in front of 10's of K people who were traveling to see the event, shouldn't he issue an EO banning sporting events when the temperature is below freezing? I mean 50-80K attend 3-4 hours long football games in zero degree weather. Isn't that way more dangerous than this weather and short time? Whole thing is total bs.

Why shouldn't parents be able to decide what's best for their kids instead of government? I thought the idea was to have less government. Or are you a lib?

^^^^

Again….i don’t think it’s the weather solely or even the main factor.

But announcing that they can secure indoors better probably isn’t too smart if you are the ones doing the securing.

Demonstrations and interruptions can be controlled better. And you know as well as I that there will be both present. Hell, it was hard enough to just get thru the confirmation hearings.

Just my opinion

The open borders allow students to go to districts if the one they are zoned to is not a good fit. I’m all for private schools as long as they don’t leech money from the already strapped school districts.

If Biden can "declare" the 28th Amendment law, can Trump also declare the 19th Amendment void?

hell yes!

From the morons that have no idea what a woman is...

Another lie from Biden?...

Yesterday I posted the on-air love fest Jim Acosta gave himself. Apparently, it was because he just learned they are moving him to the midnight to 2am slot hahaha

From the article:

CNN is apparently plotting to exile star anchor Jim Acosta — a longtime antagonist of President-elect Donald Trump — to the “Siberia of television news” in a bid to “throw a bone” to the incoming commander-in-chief, according to a former colleague.

The network’s boss, Mark Thompson, this week called in Acosta to propose shifting his show, “CNN Newsroom with Jim Acosta,” from 10 a.m. to the graveyard midnight slot, ex-CNN senior media reporter Oliver Darcy reported in his Status News newsletter.

“The move would effectively exile Acosta to the Siberia of television news,” Darcy wrote.

Acosta was caught “off guard,” Darcy said — with the anchor later using his airtime for some self-promotion to send a message to Trump to go easier on journalists.

However, sources pinned the move on preparations for Trump’s return to office given Acosta’s infamously testy relationship with the president-elect — who famously branded the anchor “a rude, terrible person.”

“They want to get rid of Acosta to throw a bone to Trump,” an unnamed media executive told the newsletter.

I thought this was because he started asking Brandon questions Brandon didn't like and wasn't going to answer. I don't buy for a minute that this is some present for Trump. Not that he shouldn't appreciate it

As per usual, liberal democrats just make shit up and try to ignore all rules and procedures.

Swearing in ceremony Monday moved inside because of the cold.

Sounds safer?

Trump ought to turn this thing on its head by canceling all of the big ticket stuff and turning the inauguration into a telethon to raise money for the people affected by the hurricane/ flooding in NC, East Tennesee, etc, throwing the money saved from the inauguration into the kitty as the seed funding.

F-ck Mayorkas. He is just trying the same time-honored excuse pieces of sh-t like him have used for centuries...'I was following orders.'

These are the words of a f-cking coward:

"People have different views on what the correct policies should be, what the correct operational measures should be. Those disagreements, those different views are voiced."

"Decisions are made, and then everyone marches in unity together. That is the nature of a large organization, and the government is no different."

Well.said.

Ready for the latest crapstorm? Potato brain thinks he can make the 28th amendment valid.

They should have impeached this asshole and Harris if for no other reason that they can't serve another four year term. They will use this to try and reinstate roe vs wade.

That they didn't even try is why I'm good with sending everyone that cowered in that building home. Primary them all.

This guy should've been impeached, tarred, and feathered within a year of when he walked through the door. Just the election interference alone where the DNC, DS, and his campaign lied about everything and prevented the voters from knowing about his criminal gains, handling of documents he was not legally allowed to possess, and THEN storing them improperly, and the laptop of his criminal son whose emails incriminate the Democrat nominee and former vice president.

Maybe a handful of the Rs in congress bothered doing more than speaking about it. Screw em all

This guy mentions 10 cities too....

Saw a story last night (forgot who posted it on X) that there were drones being used in DC to test for radiation or something like that. I tried to find the post but I can't find it. But I know someone on X posted that.

Common sense.

Now feds will have to think of something else.

Chinese already have that covered. All they need is one unmanned drone to eliminate all but the perpeticians they've hired to destroy this country. Be harder to do that outdoors than indoors. Scrub the whole dog and pony show and just have a small ceremony somewhere undisclosed to the public, but broadcast live.
