Pretty sure when historians write about this period, they will claim the chain of events that caused the coming crisis/civil war/collapse/massive pandemic death toll/whatever is coming started well before 2020.

There is not going to be a civil war. Antifa, BLM and the hardcore “hate Trump and his supporters with all their hearts” left consist of purple-haired freaks, heroin junkies, fat 55-year old cat women, and ghetto-dwelling alt-left losers. Not of them have guns. They can’t organize. And this is only happening in the inner cities. It’s not reality.
STL lost his job as an eBayer because he got squeezed out of the market by other goobers. I’d take any opinion of his about jobs, lockdowns and stimulus with a grain of salt.
I used to enjoy engaging in debate in this thread. I've always maintained the philosophy that one should challenge their own beliefs by defending them against those with a difference of opinion. And it's good to be willing to listen with an open mind and always remember that one can be mistaken. There's no shame in evolving your views by learning. This is how we grow. But over time, it's become obvious to me that those on the left no longer even believe in my basic core values. We have become so different, that the discussion can no longer offer any substance which brings about positive reflection and mutual understanding. At one time, we all wanted to get to the same place, we disagreed on the proper route to take. Now however, we most certainly do not want to go to the same place. We have different goals entirely and I think the ship of compromise has sailed. So like you, I have most of the libs on here blocked. It's not worth trying anymore. Neither them nor I have any interest in hearing what the other has to say. At this point it's just about having a "got ya moment," and most of the time I'm just too over that crap. I come here for two reasons. One, it's actually a decent resource for getting news, and two, over the years I've grown rather fond of many posters in this thread and enjoy their company in my down time. It's a nice thread when you ignore all the leftie nuts. Would recommend to a friend.

What isn’t being said is the help isn’t for minorities here, so much as it is 3rd world abroad. And that’s what was being stopped under Trump and why SO many were gung hole he had to be stopped!
Now the lower class here is going to be crushed because of it.
