This is exactly why there needs to be term limits. Term limits for Congress were not deemed necessary originally because the majority of the power was to rest with the individual states. Therefore there was no need for term limits for Congress. Don't like what your rep is doing, vote them out.

Now that the Federal government wants to control everything and the shift in power from the intended State level to the Federal level, term limits are crucial to protect people. People in certain states want to control what every state does but yet the people they want to control have no say in the larger state's elected officials. I wish somehow there could be a lawsuit to mandate this be brought up for a Constitutional amendment. As long as it is left to those lifers in Congress, it will never happen.

To say someone in KY, IN, TN etc is not impacted or has no legal standing regarding determining who a representative from California is, is no longer valid when the Federal government has far exceeded its original intent and its Constitutional authority.
