Now that TRump has failed miserably at stopping illegal immigration he is going to try his hand at stopping legal migration. The best part of all this is it's conservative states and business that will lose the most from the labor shortage.

Do you intentionally try to be a complete dumbass or does it come naturally....you know, like Biden?

On the Iowa family video...

Fascinating, and really a key reason why Trump lagged in polls first time around and will lag again until election night.

Basically, Trump is off-putting, can be mean, and really isn't a true McCain/Bush type of conservative.

A conservative family hesitant to say they would vote for or even consider Trump. He's an ass, rough talking, not Presidential in the traditional sense. However, there isn't a dem candidate that remotely fits their conservative values.

"Border, rule of law..." is something that is very important to them. One candidate, party and platform are even remotely close to what they are looking for with those.

Dad, sums up the blue-collar, white, conservative, more than likely lifelong registered (D) that turned sour on dem/libs during Obama years. You had to twist his arm to say he voted for an (R)/Trump. He probably didn't want to, but at the end of the day, he got past the aesthetics of the candidate and partisanship of voting (D) just because.

Mom...there's that female demographic the media likes to talk about. They didn't vote for Trump, why? Well, basically he's an ass.

Daughter. Gen-Z in a nutshell. You could tell the ole girl was very conscientious of how this clip would play with her peers and on social media. Again, female sensibilities very apparent in that she just can't get past the bully aspect of Trump. In a moment of real honesty though, she draws the line at Warren and Bernies because they're too far left.

You can tell Mom is stubborn as an old goat, so she'll write in McCain again just to spite Trump. Lib party doesn't really line up with her believes, but by god she's not voting for Trump because he's p***y grabbing a hole. Can really tell she's bought into everything the media has sold in terms of optics...but not their politics...

Dad, more sensible. Clearly not a Trump fan, but reasonable enough to understand a vote for Trump isn't just a vote for Trump the a**hole but it's a vote for a lot of the values he holds.

Daughter, wildcard. Clearly her mother's daughter, aware of her peers, social media, etc, but also clearly has a limit as to how far left she's interested in going.

I would like to see some interviews with black folks and Hispanics. Very interested in what they're thinking and why. A lot of signs pointing to a percentage or two maybe dabbling on the right this go around which would be a huge change in the winds.
Spot on.

Repubs need to line somebody up for 2024 with Trump's business experience/savvy, but better bedside manner. Would be an unbeatable combination.

A huge win if this continues.

I think it's hilarious that a lot of liberals think Canada is some multinational Shangri La, but they don't realize a couple things - one, Canada is overwhelmingly white - wayyyy whiter than the US. Two, Canada doesn't want Americans - It's a pain in the ass to migrate to Canada, Trump should take a page out of their immigration playbook. Three, it's cold AF up there in the winter. Good luck with that.

He's just going to respond with the whole.."It always plummets in June cause it's hot outside in the summer" nonsense.
the article itself says that on average crossings drop 20% in June. Trump did exactly what i said he would. Ramp up the rhetoric and bullshit and wait for the summer slowdown to claim credit for a "miracle" fix. Families not from Mexico won't make the trip when their odds of dying from the heat are 50/50. This fits perfectly into the 30% drop in family units since right now 80% of illegal immigration are non mexicans. When the weather cools off it will spike again. By then Trump will have found some new shiny object to distract his base.

I thought one of the things Trumpsters loved most was his "bedside manner."

I'd agree that a toned down version of Trump would probably attract more of the middle, but I wonder if that would turn off his most ardent supporters like @screwduke1 who live and die by his Twitter feed.

you need one of these to flick when you consider posting about federal debt, immigration, stock market, NK, etc

Who though? I'm still pushing for Crenshaw. I think he has all the intangibles and the Republican's can just call the Dems bigoted against a disabled Vet when anybody on the left disagrees with him.

Please show me a quote from that article that says "on average crossings drop 20% in June"

It mentioned a typical drop, but the closest it came to mentioning a percentage was when it talked about last years 17% drop.

I like that Trump doesn't take crap when it comes to the media and Dem politicians. But a lot of the battles he engages in are unnecessary and come off as petty. So yeah, I'd like the next republican to have the same testicular fortitude but also know how to keep his/her mouth shut when it's behooving. Also, a smart person has the ability to tell someone to kiss their ass in such a way that they like it. Lol. I do it almost daily at my job. It's a skill I'd like to see our next president possess.

Pretty much spot on to how I feel. I think Trump's approach comes off as very childish when he keeps saying Fake News or comes up with nicknames for everyone etc. Problem is he is the first person that ran for the office of President to call out the outright B/S and lies of the left along with calling out the media for their complicity in allowing the left to run unchecked.

I am glad someone finally has the fortitude to stand up to the left's lies and outrageous policies. If he can clean up his approach somewhat and still put the left in their place, he would win in a landslide.

Problem with being subtle in how you tell someone to kiss your ass, often the intended parties are too stupid to understand and therefore you have to beat them over the head with the message. Alas, Donald Trump.

99.9% of the time, I think these conspiracy theories are pure BS, but in this case, there can be no doubt that there were any number of extremely wealthy persons all over the world that found it awfully damn convenient that Epstein killed himself.

Best thing ever to happen to that douche was losing an eye.

If things go relatively well, Trump gets reelected, trade deal gets done, a bi-partisan infrastructure bill goes through, etc...Pence could, and probably should be the guy.

Pair him up with a solid woman VP, and that would be a strong ticket.

Carly Fiorina - Former tech CEO, California rep...well traveled and versed in business

Kim Reynolds - Gov. Iowa...Her and Pence would lock down the breadbasket for two more cycles

Condi Rice - former National Security Adviser, Sec. State, Provost of Stanford...Her credentials and reputation are what they are. Well-liked and respected on both sides. Far enough removed from Bush years.

Outside of solid female candidates, I also like Mark Cuban. I think he's independent, but think he could make for a good running mate, cabinet member, and maybe even candidate down the road.

Really smart, business savvy guy who understands modern global economics, tech, etc.

I like Ben Carson. Brilliant dude, could and should have a bigger role in the healthcare discussion. Truly a caring individual. Has gained some experience in the political and policy world with HUD.

Crenshaw and Cotton are two rising stars with potential. Military backgrounds give them unique, intimate, and in-depth knowledge of general national security issues here on the homefront as well as abroad, specifically when it comes to the middle east and combating terrorism.

I'll put Romney in there as a longshot/dark horse. Not without his faults, but as a VP candidate I think they wouldn't be as big of a deal.

Checks the successful CEO/business and economics box.

He's moderate and likable enough to not lose and maybe gain some voters in the middle who were/are/will be put off by Trump.

Politically savvy enough to win different offices on opposite sides of the map in two very different political time periods/climates. The latter of which was nothing short of an extraordinary comeback after basically falling out of favor with his own party, being laughed off the stage, poo-pooed, and ultimately railroaded in the election.

Every democrat needs to watch/listen to this video/song. If they would watch it & quit their race baiting our country could be far more like this song. But then being the rotten, race baiters that they are. They've got to divide our country on racial lines in order to secure the black vote. I guess as long as we have liberal democrats we will have race hustlers.

All this is wrong. Carly Florina? Really? Condoleeza rice?? A neocon?? Even pence?? He wouldn’t have a shot in hell. The next republican nominee for president after 2020 will be Nikki Haley. Hell I would say there is an outside chance trump replaces pence with her for 2020.

I do have a question about the Clinton body count. I'm not disputing any of it, but why do you suppose Monica wasn't offed? Seems like she would have been just as big of a target as any.

The Clinton's didn't know that Monica had the "Blew Dress." They figured that they would just label her another lying bimbo and the media would buy it.
