Ya Think.... Naw, it CAN'T be.... they are so lovely a couple... Sure do not think they are vegetarians...

I have no issues taxing those items. You need public things like roads, police, and fire to enable the production, transport and consumption of those items. Taxes should cover that. Your goal should be to make it as efficient as possible to cover that so the consumption taxes are low.
My problem is that consumption taxes disproportionately affect the poorest Americans.

Meanwhile.... Trump is making plans to change every map in the world to include the Gulf of America and getting ready to attack Greenland and Panama.
That'll bring down those food and housing costs as well as teach Putin/Xi a lesson on attacking neighboring countries. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
OMG still TDS in 2025.

Where’s the insult here? You think I’m dumb and we’re therefore an abysmal teacher?

As you’d expect, I went to private school where wives were teachers and their husbands worked actual jobs. I doubt we crossed paths.
Not surprised at all. Dumb enough to pay lots of extra money for unqualified, even more poorly paid teachers who were focused on religious indoctrination.
Not one bit surprised.
My public school family/friends who are now working as Vets, doctors, dentists, teachers, cops, opthalmologists, physical therapists and surgeons got waaaaaaay more bang for their buck than you did. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes, you and anyone who associates with you are certainly a ringing endorsement of the United States public school system.

Any dollar spent by me or my parents to keep me or anyone else out of any building you were permitted to step foot in was a dollar well spent.

Might wanna check your facts.... Brainwashed and indoctrinated. 🤣

"Tennessee’s education chief admits students using public money to attend private schools haven’t performed well on achievement tests"

Okay so January 20th we grab Greenland, and then we annex Canada January 21st, January 22nd we take to Gulf of Mexico, and on January 23rd, we install Nigel Farage as the prime minister of Great Britain.
And on the seventh day The Don ended his work which he had done, and The Don rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.

Anecdotal. You'll be hard pressed to show unbiased data that supports public schools outperform private schools.

Everything is always about how the voters are too stupid to know better😂

“We couldn’t get our message out.” Yes, it wasn’t enough to have 99% of corporate media, Hollywood, academia, and Facebook serve as your propaganda constantly telling everyone how awesome you were.

Dems, think about how much your party sucks ass and is not a reflection of what people actually want. It’s so bad that a guy you have ran non-stop hit pieces on for a decade; tried to impeach twice, bogus investigations, and tried to imprison, beat you in an electoral college blowout.

The only on who would think you did a good job were illegals and for globalists trying to destroy the west.

Maybe I've been a fan of an official abused, SEC basketball team for far too long, but I'd settle at this point for a 5 phantom foul advantage overall for our opponents. THAT I think we can manage to overcome.

THE GAME LAST NIGHT was called more like a football game in favor of Georgia, while we were made to play Simon Says. It's not a real battle, but to compare it to war would be to give a green light to a Georgia blitzkrieg while telling our troops they weren't allowed to fight back and were only allowed to shoot from 20ft.

It was no surprise it was a loss.
What was surprising was that it wasn't a massacre.
You’ll never be able to convince me that basketball isn’t the most corrupt officiated sport.

I don’t even think it’s just a few. I think gambling is an epidemic amongst officials and maybe even the higher ups. No accountability. Absurd decisions that cannot be simply passed off as incompetency. Miss a foul? Miss a guy step out of bounds? Sure. Get that many wrong and lopsided? No way.

Liberals (this one a professor at the University of Missouri).

Mizzou says she's retired but her Lindedin page says not......

'The University of Missouri condemned a retired professor on Wednesday for a “deeply offensive” remark regarding the ongoing California wildfires.

Karen Piper has been a professor of English and an adjunct professor of Geography at the University of Missouri since 1996. Her LinkedIn profile lists her as still active at the school.

Piper took to X Tuesday with a barb directed at actor James Woods, an outspoken conservative. The fires, she wrote, are the direct consequences of his own actions.
“James Woods' house is burning down,” she wrote. “It's karma calling.”

A spokesperson for the university condemned Piper for the remark in a statement sent via email.

“The University of Missouri extends its sympathies to all those affected by the wildfires in California,” they wrote. “We find the statement by Karen Piper — a retired professor — to be deeply offensive, and it does not reflect the university's viewpoint or values. We are reviewing this matter.”

That's because private schools refuse to take state tests and make results public. Only reason they did so in Tennessee is because of pressure to pass the vouchers there.
The public schools outperformed the private schools on those released tests in Tennessee.
Private schools have zero accountability and the added luxury of kicking out low performing kids.
I have no problem with private schools so long as public tax dollars aren't supporting them.

'California state Assemblyman Bill Essayli is asking Gov. Gavin Newsom to call a special legislative session to address wildfires as several continue to spread throughout Los Angeles County.

“California is suffering an unmitigated wildfire disaster because we have a Governor who is more interested in 'Trump-Proofing' California instead of fireproofing our state,” Essayli said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “There is no excuse for California -- the 5th largest economy and tech capital of the world -- to look like third world-country when we face predictable, preventable wildfires. The tragic loss of life and property occurring right now in Los Angeles is a direct result of failed Democrat policies pushed by environmental extremists who control this Legislature.”

I wish I could write Trump press conferences and decisions.

Trump steps to the podium

"Well, folks, it’s a beautiful day. A tremendous day. I’ve got some incredible announcements, okay? Big ones. The best announcements, maybe ever. People are saying this could be the most historic press conference of all time. Tremendous.

First up—Mexico. You know I love Mexico. Beautiful tacos, incredible people, except for the bad ones. But we’re fixing that. Believe me. Now, we need someone great—someone with flair, with style—to be our ambassador to Mexico. And who better, folks, than the great Cheech Marin? You know him, you love him. From Cheech and Chong. He’s a tremendous guy, has been in a lot of movies, very successful. Knows Mexico, knows culture, knows how to laugh. We need laughter, folks. And let’s be honest—when it comes to diplomacy, who’s going to say no to Cheech? Nobody. He’s got charisma, okay? Tremendous charisma. He’s going to do great things.

Now, next—immigration. You know, I’ve done more for immigration than anyone in history. The wall? Fantastic. The policies? Even better. But ICE—let me tell you—ICE deserves a leader who’s tough, strong, and knows how to hunt bad guys. So I’m naming Dog the Bounty Hunter as the new head of ICE. Dog is an incredible guy. Nobody hunts people down like Dog. You don’t mess with Dog. Criminals? They see him, they run. ICE is going to be unstoppable under Dog, folks. He’s tough, he’s fair, and he’s got a mullet that’s better than ever.

Finally—and this one’s going to blow your minds, believe me—we’re going to fix our economy in a way no one’s ever thought of before. Tremendous plan. You know how people have all these coins just lying around? Pennies, nickels, quarters—they’re clutter. Nobody uses them anymore. So, here’s what we’re doing. We’re partnering with Chuck E. Cheese. You’ve heard of them, right? Great place, great pizza. Very underrated pizza. We’re going to melt all the coins down, turn them into Chuck E. Cheese tokens, and stimulate the economy. Kids are going to love it. Parents are going to love it. Everyone gets a token, everybody wins.

Reporters, I see your faces. You’re shocked. You’re amazed. But that’s what I do. I deliver. These are the best ideas, folks. The smartest people are telling me, 'Sir, nobody thinks like you do.' And they’re right. Nobody does. God bless America. God bless Cheech, Dog, and Chuck E. Cheese.”

Just my unknowing from afar opinion but,... You need a woman... ;)

Reactions: Girthang
California has done this to themselves by adopting DEI and Elitist Luxury policy. There are clear actions taken by Newscum that caused this. All to burnish his environmental cred. They save the Smelt but lose their town. And add the insult of their regulators denying State Farm to raise rates. A beautiful Luxury sentiment....until State Farm says, eff u and leaves Cali. Now the homes burned have no coverage...but Newscum saved the Smelt and gave the salmon back to the Indians as he tore down not 1 but 4 dams.

Nothing a dem does works. Ever. Total failure. But Trump will fix it.
