NO one said that. The debate is about 2 things: 1) whether humans are causing the changes. If you believe the evolution story, then the climate changed hundreds, if not thousands, of times before man came around. Guess those were trumps fault too? 2) will taxing the shite out of all of us and controlling our means of transportation and now how we cook our dam food solve "climate change"? The way an opponent can hurt Trump is to ignore him. Let him throw mud, tell lies and whine and cry and just stay above it. It is all about me with Trump. He refers to himself as "your favorite all time President---me, me, me" He does not put America First he puts Trump first. Everything has to be about Trump. He is a continuous TV Reality Show.
Trump will not be President again because he has not gained any support since 2020. Not a single new voter. But he has lost many including me and most people I talk to. And real important is Trump is running out of campaign funds. I get emails from him daily wanting money. I had donated in the past but now I can't unsubscribe so I get his crazy emails. Me, me, me Trump.
Trump and his people throw out polls and live by the polls. History have shown us polls mean nothing, especially a year and a half before the election. So let him boast and threaten and try to destroy everyone who has a different opinion. Let him brag about his 56% lead in the polls, it makes him and his followers feel good. But it will be for naught. And trying to put DeSantis in the Swamp will come back to bite Trump in the ass. DeSantis was a member of the Tea Party and Freedom Caucus in the House. If he was a Swamp dweller he sure failed at it. He does not govern his state from the Swamp
Now I really like the names he calls DeSantis because they are cute and funny but knowing DeSantis, he will use any name Trump comes up with to his advantage. We will all get a good laugh watching Trump turn red in the face. Trump is not dealing with Jeb Bush or Paul Ryan when he takes on DeSantis. As for now DeSantis will continue to take the high road and get things done in Florida. He is our Governor and has a conservative agenda to pass. Let Trump be Trump.

Serious question….. Assuming he gets the GOP nod, do you believe Trump can be (re) elected? If he is the GOP nominee I will vote for him, but I personally have serious doubts about his prospects; particularly with all the forces aligned against him.
At this point, DeSantis is the only credible alternative to Trump. Living in Indiana, the process may be settled before I can vote in the primary election, but given a choice I plan to vote for DeSantis assuming he decides to run.
