They made it look as if he was talking about the violence when he said people were peaceful and loving. He made the comment 7 months later and was strictly talking about the rally and his speech, not what later ensued. That was pure anti-Trump propaganda. I am critical of Trump, but our government is whack. These people are supposed to be doing OUR business and they are wasting time spinning an event that was already the subject of an impeachment. And, no court would accept as fact the claim that the event was the cause of police officers’ suicide deaths.

Think I've mentioned before of a guy I know (has done a lot of work for us on our properties) was there and went in the Capitol. Said (what he saw) that cops/guards were opening the doors for them...were friendly and saying 'hi' to people...no damage being done inside...everybody fairly quiet and taking pictures, looking around....nuns praying and singing hymns.
He got busted a few months later. Had posted a couple selfies on his FB page and thinks a lib family member called the FBI. Had an interview with the FBI. Was charged. Had a remote/zoom court hearing with a DC court. Found guilty and I think paid a fine and was/is not allowed to go to DC.
When the FBI first contacted him they took his phone. Phone that I guess he used for personal and business use.
Don't know if he had video on it or not...but had pictures of that day. Never got it back.

I believe he's the son of a long time college football assistant (Nebraska and Ohio U), so he has been raised and has spent his whole life in and around the college/university atmosphere.
