You know, I heard this guy is really smart. So smart I believe he was even accepted into Harvard.

So yes, if Ford is manufacturing vehicles that can drive into people of their own volition, then Ford must suffer the consequences of litigation for loosing these machines upon the public.
No links to post but I know people who are now getting weekend jobs to pay necessity bills like food, gas, utilities, etc. Pawn shop owner I'm friends with says people are pawning personal items just to buy a tank of gas. Folks living paycheck to paycheck are going to have it rough to say the least.

Everybody knows what their personal financial situation is and if there are ANY middle class or lower class Americans doing better off than they were before he took office, with more savings and less debt, they are few and far between. Even those who had robust 401K's are feeling a hit. Nobody is buying Biden's nonsense about this topic because all they have to do is look at their own bank accounts to realize he's full of $hit.
The irony in his remarks is that he claims people are managing this crap because they had more in their savings as a cushion to absorb it. Savings don't happen overnight. They had savings because of the robust Trump economy that created more millionaires than ever in the countries history. Now all those gains made under Trump are being flushed down our gas tanks and into rapidly rising costs of literally everything we use for sustenance.
Nobody did better than drug dealers during the pandemic. Legal or illegal.
My ex-father in law (RIP) was fairly high up in the Labor Dept. Based at one of their regional offices. He used to tell me of some of the shenanigans they used to do to make the numbers look good/better for Washington. Starting with Clinton. Said when Clinton got in office he got a call from someone in the W.H. who basically threatened a transfer to Timbuktu if they didn't get good numbers from his region.

All could (probably) be soft, but the big negative I think will be Housing Starts.
There's been THIRTEEN mass killings (4+) at USA schools since 1966. Most shootings, by far, are outside the schools and not during school hours, and around sporting events. How do those other countries count- same as USA or half a$$? How many don't even get reported? How many of their kids are even in school? What's the population of those countries? Considering Covid wiped out a good number of folks, the US population isn't a whole lot different than it was 3-4 years ago (unless you factor in the illegals). We didn't have anywhere near those problems then. We were fully staffed at our restaurants. The facility my wife works at (a Vendor for Ford) was fully staffed and working plenty of OT. There were no supply chain issues. Equipment that now takes 20-25 weeks for us to get took 4-6 weeks. Now we're having trouble getting items from the people that make our service counters and condiment stands. I placed those orders in January for projects starting now and they still can't get them to us.

In other news, the British Jubilee has been a smashing success. Her Royal Highness was resplendent in all her glory as her subjects stood reverently with tears in their eyes. The highlight of the event was of course when the rebellious commoner and her Prince showed up. Boos!
