He is a dangerous grifter. I know people here don't want to believe that because trump endorsed him; but it's true. It will be revealed in time but unfortunately will be too late now that he's locked in.

That race will end up being a referendum on how much of a fraud he is rather than the focus being on liberal insanity.
Educate me. I have not followed that race. I know Sen. Hawley supported him and that carries weight with me. I also like the idea of working class people running for office, rather than just the elite class. So, tell me more. Thanks.
Read bigblue's post earlier and was going to ask the same thing but got sidetracked on an outdoor project.
So, I was wondering the same thing.
As I noted a week or two ago, I didn't particulalyr like any of the candidates. In my mind there was something not to like about all of them. But...come November I'll vote for J.D. No way I want the Dem alternative.

@TheFrontRunner, since it's May 4th, should we worry about @JStaff2187 today?

Buddy I was sitting in a lobby today and they had the tv on the news and they did a segment on 'May the 4th be With You'.

I watched it with both amusement and horror. They were interviewing all these nerds. who were out in the sun for a change to celebrate their holiday. They were so happy and pathetically enthusiastic about star wars, their star wars collectibles, their glow sticks...etc.

I just kept thinking of Ron Swanson yelling at them:

I want to show you what idiotic post my far left SIL shared today on social media.

"If it was truly about not killing babies, then we'd all have a million dollars and houses made of chocolate."

No debating these people.

The comments on this post are even more insane.

The comments are even more dumb AF.
I gotcha beat. I have a friend who posted that 95% of women who had abortions say they don’t regret their decisions - as if that’s what the debate is all about. I asked her what were the poll results of the fetuses.

100 to 1 it’s a personal agenda of some kind. I asked him about it before but he just kept repeating generalities ___ nothing specific.

When I lived in Atlanta we had a friend whose brother was a doctor and very involved in the pro-life movement. I also knew several pastors who were involved. They all said that the great majority of women who have had one regret it later in life....and that it causes (for many women, not all) types of mental anguish, depression, etc.
Not to mention many studies that have found direct correlation between having an abortion and various health issues....one I believe (doing this from memory, so could be wrong, but don't think so) is a greater chance of breast cancer.

I saw that shared also. Arguing from absurdity is one of their favorite fallacies.

Where’s that one in the Constitution?
Declaration of Independence ... "we hold these truths to be self evident ... you know, ... the thing." (I fully know the Decl is not the Const ... more than you know. But to think they are not related is purely retarded.)

But you keep thinking you got a big own there, boss. With your DA sidekick too. How comical.

So I have a question for the thread. Y’all still maintain your “God given rights” position now that the SC just ripped one away? Don’t seem very “inalienable” when they can just be snatched away at any moment do they?

Did they “rip the right away” or just decide to let the voters in each state decide what to do about it? Lots of states still allow abortion.
