When I was in the age of 5-11 I used to wake up hoping I got a fever because it meant I got to skip school for a day or two. I wasn’t terrified when I got a fever, my mother wasn’t terrified when I got a fever. Because it’s a freaking fever. This was how I was treated when I got a fever when I was a kid.
I got a blanket, I laid down on the couch, watched TV and had chicken noodle soup. Did that for a day or two and that was that.

@Sawnee Cat my wife talked to a former coworker who left for a job at Centre. She is liberal and even she is blown away at how liberal Centre is. Apparently they’ve pressured her to add her pronouns to the end of any email she sends... because that’s what all staff do at Centre.
