I stopped watching Locked on Kentucky because of all the videos titled "Player X to Kentucky?" Those click-bait headlines are so annoying. They never have any real news, just speculation. You can literally say that about anybody and make it sound like it's close to happening.

Portals been open a little over a week, Still hundreds of players available, and more entering every day. We've already gotten one pretty good one in the fold and yet we're "running behind!!!"

Some of the people that work as KSR are snobby jerks who think they are better than you and don’t even mind if it appears that way. There are a few of them that are very kind people and Jacob, Kansas fan or not, is as nice a guy as there is. He’s had a bad month as an insider but all insiders have struggled with portal season. Just speaking my positive piece about Jacob into the world. Genuinely good dude
I’ll take your word for it and that’s nice to find out about a person. But I truly think he sources his news from this forum if other sources are running dry.
Locked on Kentucky podcast is absolutely terrible. I can’t listen to that guy for more than a minute without wanting to throw my phone. He knows absolutely nothing. He can’t even make it through a point he’s trying to make without stumbling or having to go back to his note cards. Then still doesn’t get it right. It’s awful.
His credibility is really questionable at this point. He hasn’t gotten much right recently. But, I don’t subscribe to his pay service either.
If a commit is today will probably be another role player. We need role players but not a roster mostly full of guys that aren't SEC high level players. Another middle of the pack year in the conference because of not being able to recruit with the better recruiting coaches.

Hope you’re right, but with all of the kids committing elsewhere quickly, it does give me pause that Coach Pope didn’t have a whole group of transfers just chomping at the bit to come here. And that’s OK, just makes it more nervy until we get a full roster.
I LOVE Coach Pope!!! And have no doubt we will upgrade the team. It’s just puzzling that we aren’t moving this along better.
But I will say that offering Mgbako is a head scratcher.

Why does anyone care what that dude says? He’s become the guy that says UKs getting everyone until the end then says it’s changed and things are fluid. No different than any of the other BS insiders from years past. It’s all BS.
Agreed. He’s a little green but he’ll get better. He’s genuine though and not a grifter like many of the people with supposed “sources”

I would say posting click bait deceptive headlines on the internet in order to get people to subscribe to your service is by definition grifting although that is kind of the general way of the media operates currently.
Not gonna lie. As a 43 year old with a mortgage and bills, a summer of this sounds pretty awesome.
