Players Parents Are Officially Fed Up

Fans need to give more money to nil no doubt is the problem.
Stoops’ seat should certainly be hot after this season, but the point about limited NIL money is also unfortunately true. Just a reality of the new college football world and another thing that will hurt UK more than it helps.

Cal will win a NCAA title way before Stoops. Not even debatable.

Apples to oranges. Give Stoops Alabamas football roster or a similar top 5 roster each season and compare.

Calipari has sucked since 2015 with a top 5 roster each season. His performance here is all the more maddening with his inability to win another national title. He should have been fired already.

Not good when this happens. Hard to keep perspective parents are just humans too and their platforms aren’t necessarily insight. Just getting out their frustrations like others but stuff like this is a Rorschach test for whatever you already believe usually.

As far as bellcow carries go:

He had 12 of the 24 designed runs and looked to me to be favoring his left side on pass pro and when initiating contact. Even his spin move TD happened when a defender was coming in at his left. I wish they ran it more overall but it was a makeshift OL and I think they are ride or die with Leary.

Davis is the kind of back you stick with and he eventually hits one every game. He showed it all year. Plus while waiting on that homerun he's giving you 4 yards a carry so it isn't even feast or famine. We just have an OC that can't live with 4 yards a carry. Soon as we get 2nd and 5/6 he goes pa deep shot.

Plus he needs involved in the pass game. He's lethal out of the backfield. He's incredible in pass blocking. Other than rest, there is really no reason to give carries to anyone else. He's an elite every down back.

The OL played well most of the season. Very well much of it. Ya some pressures happened vs Georgia and bama but cmon.... they're doing that to everyone. Rest of the year their play is good. Like his first stint, coen just can't stand sticking with the run. He must've called this Florida game while gritting his teeth.

On the Florida game - the weird post game comments I think split the locker room. Instead of praising Davis and the OL; all we heard was reassurance it was an anomaly, we were dedicated to throwing the ball, and bizarre hand wringing about the defenses takeaways stealing possessions and snaps from the offense. Literally next game we looke like a different team, imploded, and was never the same

Yes he did.

Stoops lost this team and his seat should be warming.
I understand Davis' frustration, especially as an ALL-SEC calibre back, but on the positive side for him ... he almost surpassed 1,000 net rushing yards yesterday (has 990 now) and will certainly do it next Saturday. Congrats to Ray Davis and here's hoping for a huge game against Louisville !!!

How many 7 footers played in the offense you are describing? I GUARANTEE Cal will stick 2 seven footers in at the same time and clog up everything. He CAN'T HELP HIMSELF! 2 seven footers and Mitchell all in at the same time. GUARANTEE it .
Guess we’ll find out soon.

I think we started with multiple issues at the beginning of the season....but no one in the media knew.

It's sad but we played easy games to get that first 5-0 start. Now it's like we just don't care.

And I think these issues are part coaching problem, part recruiting problem.

There's got to be guys out there who can throw the ball better than what we saw this year at the qb position...And to get a guy like Ray Davis....he's worth giving the ball to. Everybody is asking for everything and its just not happening.

If you can’t already see the changes made to our offense in basketball, I don’t know what to tell you. But it’s very obvious.
Really, for the most part it looks like the same full court "goooo" offense to me. ie: try to get points in transition because you don't want to execute a structured half-court offense. That last few minutes of the Kansas game was textbook dribble out the shot clock, go 1 on 1 and throw up a prayer Calipari ball.

There is way more spacing this year, and instead of shooting long 2s, we are shooting 3s and it’s paying off.

Anyway - my point in all of this was to say that Mark Stoops will never change his philosophy/style of play.

Leary has been put into a no win situation. He's not being utilized properly AT ALL. When we go tempo, he's able to get in a rhythm and looks very crisp. Why on the Father's green earth we can't run an up tempo offense, I'll never know.

This. The “we have to be balanced and throw the ball or else receiver and QB recruits won’t come” mentality is what is killing the programs momentum. Fact is…we aren’t out recruiting the top half of this conference at WR and QB anyways. Fact is…you don’t need an NFL QB and Receivers to be a highly effective RPO team in college. Does that system win in the NFL—nope. But it does in college and I care more about winning college games

You can recruit a great offensive line fairly easily. You can recruit high level running backs and athletes and a solid dual threat QB that throws well enough to keep the defense honest fairly easy.

I'm not sure what Key is mad about...catch the f'n ball, put some effort in on your assignments to block

Probably tired of watching incomplete bombs to Brown over and over. We speed up the plays, pass it around to everyone, concentrate on trying to get 10 yards instead of 50, and there will be a lot more happy players.

A coach that knows how to coach up and develop talent . We don't have a staff that has shown the ability to coach kids up and make them better. When was the last time an offensive player came to UK and left better than when he arrived? It's been a few years now. All our best players showed up with skills and coaching that was acquired other places. Levis, Wandale, Tayvion,

Brown likely transfers to a Tennessee , Auburn or Louisville gets the coaching he needs and kills it.

Probably not AU, they have a shot at 3 5* WR in this class and 2 are likely. I don't really care to say anything negative about one of your players, but some kids just are interested in getting coached up, he may be one of those.

Those bombs were brutal, I was like…:how many times can you overthrow someone on a bomb before you know it’s not going to work, they were covered every time.

Disappointed with Davis complaining. Selfish. He wasn’t getting it done. Jefferson had the hot hand and has been waiting for a chance.
Davis looked a bit slower and easier to tackle. Not nearly as electric as earlier in the season. Be a team player
