I don't have a premium account for Perfect Game so I can't see everything I'd like, but Perfect Game currently has UK's class ranked at No. 14 nationally. Four players are ranked in the top 100, though I can't see who they are. Jaren Shelby is likely one of them and he's likely to play a lot next season. That's assuming he goes to college and doesn't sign with the team that drafts him.

Five pitchers are currently committed. Three right-handers and two lefties. Nick Hanson and Easton McGee are both in the 6-6, 200-pound range. RHP Chris Machamer is 6-2, 185 and LHP Zack Thompson is 6-2 180. LHP Parker Scott is 6-0, 155.

Going by the UK baseball Twitter account, these players have signed: OF Jaren Shelby, 1B Brayden Combs, LHP Zack Thompson, LHP Parker Scott, OF J.C. Flowers, RHP Easton McGee, RHP Nick Hanson, C T.J. Collett, OF Akill Baddoo. So that leaves SS Joe Bellini, SS William Holland and RHP Chris Machamer as players who haven't signed yet or UK hasn't officially announced as signing.

Always difficult to tell who will end up on campus because of the MLB Draft, but this looks to be a really solid group. I'd say UK will go the JUCO route on a few guys as well so this list is subject to change.

Did a little bit more research and found that Baseball America ranks four UK commitments in its top 100 high school prospects: No. 47 Akill Baddoo, No. 55 Jaren Shelby, No. 65 T.J. Collett, No. 69 Easton McGee.

I believe that PG has their best recruits at the top of the Commitment list and it goes down from there. So, if you use that logic (which may be wrong), the top 100 kids would be Shelby, Collett, McGee, and Baddoo. Which is in line with your update.

Collett could be the first high school catcher taken in the draft. Highly unlikely we see him at UK. The rest I don't have much info on but remain cautiously optimistic that most will choose to go to Lexington.

Yeah, looks he's going to be one of the best high school bats taken in June.
