Candidates won't be flying to Lexington to interview. They will meet at a neutral site. Tracking planes to Lexington is pointless.
Threads like this is why Rupp Rafters is the laughing stock of college basketball.
I wouldn't track a flight or watch a door for Scott Drew. He's not bad, just doesn't get one excited enough for that kind of behavior. Now, if someone wants to go toss a live feed of a backdoor of the UConn athletic office or the Bulls practice facility...
Drew is not annoying or flamboyant as the previous coach. He does not wear thousand dollar suits or draw attention to himself. He is a Christian and can speak in complete sentences. He will put UK first and not the NBA. He has won at Baylor, does not rant and rage on the sidelines, can actually coach, and has the same number of NCAA championships as our previous coach. I see why he does not get you excited!
Rick Corman died in 2013.Nothing on Flight Aware coming into either Bluegrass or RJ Corman's place.
I'm aware of that. The airfield in Nicholasville is still owned by RJ Corman, the company.Rick Corman died in 2013.
KSR had 1.2 million unique visits yesterday. I don’t think they care if a few message board warriors don’t visit the site.
The worst poster ever here, and that's saying a lot.Keyboard warrior huh? You're the one addicted to being the first person to post a tweet like it comes with a prize. Talk about keyboard warrior.
Look forward to you stinking up the game threads next year, trashing our players, telling UK fans how dumb they are and then vanishing the very second it's obvious that we'll win. You aren't fooling anyone. You go boy!
I heard a guy that looked like Drew was hitchhiking toward UK on Versailles Road.Threads like this is why Rupp Rafters is the laughing stock of college basketball.
Yeah but it is funny.Candidates won't be flying to Lexington to interview. They will meet at a neutral site. Tracking planes to Lexington is pointless.
Yeah STD wasn't BSing He even said he can tell you every person on the plane.
This was funny and made sense 16 years ago. Today it means nothing. There are HUNDREDS of private flights coming and going. And Zoom and Teams video calls are very common. And, if someone wanted privacy, they'd just meet up at a neutral site.
Read nothing into this. Very likely coincidence, and I bet if you tracked the tail flight history, you'd see similar flights from Waco to Lexington. Let's also not forget Keeneland is coming up.
No, I think this is actually legit. The plane I was looking at was the booster plane that Mitch used to pick up the Virginia Tech, but this is definitely Joe Craft’s plane, and it’s definitely stopping in Texas. My guess is Mitch has use of JC’s plane and is meeting Drew in person (not picking him up). This was funny and made sense 16 years ago. Today it means nothing. …..and clearly enjoys being told that. Effed up.The worst poster ever here, and that's saying a lot.
Dropped off a Bible full of cash? 🤣
Tail #?No, I think this is actually legit. Craft’s plane is N72UK. The plane that was used to pick up Brooks was N45EG.Tail #?
Yeah I see 72UK all the timeCraft’s plane is N72UK. The plane that was used to pick up Brooks was N45EG.
Yea it can be silly. But this one is registered to Joe Craft Enterprises. Landed in airport near Waco little over an hour ago, and destination is Lexington. Just about in KY airspace from the tracker..Yes. Most of these people don’t know what they’re doing though. If you know the plane the AD is likely to use when he picks up the candidate, you can keep an eye on it though without acting like a chicken with his head cut off.
I seem to remember a similar situation happening with Gillispie. There were rumors that he might be a candidate. But the first actual indications that things were serious was when he turned up in Lexington. I think they even sent a private plane to pick him up and bring him to Lexington, just like this. I suspect we'll officially know who our next coach is going to be within a few hours. We might even get an introductory press conference in that timeframe. If it's to the point that Drew is actually on his way to Lexington right now, I'm curious as to why we haven't heard any additional smoke around it. It seems like the last two days everybody and anyone has been tweeting rumors from sources, but there's been nothing today at all that I've seen. Strange.
N72UK is not trackable.Craft’s plane is N72UK. The plane that was used to pick up Brooks was N45EG.
It's good we're watching closely. Keep up the good wo
Classic! Love it!It's good we're watching closely. Keep up the good work.
Yes, Joe’s plane is pretty cut and dry. Many of these planes are effectively owned by a single person or a group of people but they are registered under a company that does that type of thing (NetJets as an example). That is the case with the Brooks plane. It’s a booster plane for a booster based in Jeffersonville. Those are different than the ones that are just chartered.Yea it can be silly. Who says they are flying here? You think maybe it's possible that Mitch and others could be flying there to meet with him???Candidates won't be flying to Lexington to interview. They will meet at a neutral site. Tracking planes to Lexington is pointless.
Go to adsbexchange.com they track everything. Crafts plane shows up on it. Source, I'm a pilot.N72UK is not trackable.
So my hitchhiking reports were wrong?Per reports on X
"Huge media gathering at the Bluegrass Airport. The plane will disembark at the general aviation FBO. You must have a media pass to enter inside. The rain has ended, so outside isn't a bad option. A SUV will take Drew to an undisclosed meeting place."
Yep, there it is in flight to LEX.Go to adsbexchange.com they track everything. Crafts plane shows up on it. Source, I'm a pilot.
At least Drew didn't say he would crawl to Lexington 🤣🤣So my hitchhiking reports were wrong?
Ot flew past Lexington at 6200ftYep, there it is in flight to LEX.
That's not what he said. He said a private plane is coming here and then gong back to Waco. More than likely a private plane would take Barnhart to meet with the coach and come back here.Who says they are flying here? You think maybe it's possible that Mitch and others could be flying there to meet with him???
