I'm aware of that. The airfield in Nicholasville is still owned by RJ Corman, the company.
So they just brought this up on KSR. So a private plane left Bluegrass Field heading for Waco and then immediately returning. So I guess you could conclude Mitch is heading to Waco to pickup Scott Drew and bringing him to Lexington.

This was funny and made sense 16 years ago. Today it means nothing. There are HUNDREDS of private flights coming and going. And Zoom and Teams video calls are very common. And, if someone wanted privacy, they'd just meet up at a neutral site.

No, I think this is actually legit. The plane I was looking at was the booster plane that Mitch used to pick up the Virginia Tech, but this is definitely Joe Craft’s plane, and it’s definitely stopping in Texas. My guess is Mitch has use of JC’s plane and is meeting Drew in person (not picking him up).

If it's to the point that Drew is actually on his way to Lexington right now, I'm curious as to why we haven't heard any additional smoke around it. It seems like the last two days everybody and anyone has been tweeting rumors from sources, but there's been nothing today at all that I've seen. Strange.
Yea it can be silly. But this one is registered to Joe Craft Enterprises. Landed in airport near Waco little over an hour ago, and destination is Lexington. Just about in KY airspace from the tracker..
I seem to remember a similar situation happening with Gillispie. There were rumors that he might be a candidate. But the first actual indications that things were serious was when he turned up in Lexington. I think they even sent a private plane to pick him up and bring him to Lexington, just like this. I suspect we'll officially know who our next coach is going to be within a few hours. We might even get an introductory press conference in that timeframe.

Yes, Joe’s plane is pretty cut and dry. Many of these planes are effectively owned by a single person or a group of people but they are registered under a company that does that type of thing (NetJets as an example). That is the case with the Brooks plane. It’s a booster plane for a booster based in Jeffersonville. Those are different than the ones that are just chartered.

That's not what he said. He said a private plane is coming here and then gong back to Waco. More than likely a private plane would take Barnhart to meet with the coach and come back here.
