Peach Jam thread; Today 4 pm ET on ESPN2 for the 17U Title

Cason Wallace is one I hope is offered. The guy just wins game and does what it takes to win. He leads his team to an upset win over Team Final and then absolutely destroyed UNC commit Seth Trimble this morning. Put up 17, 12 and 3 why locking up Trimble and holding him to a horrible game with 2 pts in a blowout win.

Btw DJ Wagner is playing 17U ball for the NJ Scholars if you want to look him up and watch.
Not only DJ but he's got a few big time '23 teammates who all are playing up in Mackenzie Mgbako (a UK target--6'8 wing) and 7'0 Aaron Bradshaw a teammate of his from Camden HS and guy has had a big time AAU season to this point.

Team Final bounced back from getting beat by Pro Skills last night to beat BABC 66-51

Jalen Duren had 13 pts (5-8 FG, 3/4 FT) 13 rebs and 2 blocks in 19 mins of play

Dereck Lively had 12 pts (5/6 FG, 1-1 FT, 1/2 3pt) 6 rebs and 4 blocks in 24 mins of play

Impressive but it seems UK isn’t prioritizing him yet. Am I wrong?

They've been keeping in contact with Jai Lucas in the lead and then today in write up Jake Weingarten mentioned UK with Texas and Tennessee--who he's taken official to and is seen by others as leader.

Can say that if UK offers, it's been rumored they'd get him. With Clark's injury it's certainly someone I'd expect them to watch closely this weekend after reaching out to Arterio Morris last weekend--who is close friends and HS teammates with Keyonte George.

The live periods after initial are most interesting because you see who else is added to the top tier guys who UK watched weekend previously. All staffs return, compare notes, and in this case are watching the EYBL livestreams and talking about who else they should get involved with/add to their recruiting boards. So we'll see some new names added this weekend and with so many guys in one facility/event they can target, shouldn't be hard to keep up with who is watching players.

Anyone know if Duren might reclass after Peach Jam or was that just a lot of gossip?

Team Final with win today over UPlay Canada.

Jalen Duren 13 pts, 6-9 FG, 1-1 FT, 10 Rebs, 3 Assists, 3 Blocks in 19 mins.

Dereck Lively II 15 pts, 4-11 FG, 0-5 3pt, 7-10 FT, 10 Rebs, 4 Blocks in 24 mins.

Shaedon Sharpe 19 pts, 6-18 FG, 3-9 3pt, 4-8 FT, 7 Rebs, 3 assists in 29 mins

Cason Wallace has led his Pro Skills team to an undefeated record going into tomorrow morning's game against UPlay and Shaedon Sharpe.

Wallace had 20 pts, 7-11 FG, 3-6 3pt, 3-4 FT, 10 assists and 6 Rebs in a blowout win over BABC today. Did this in 20 mins. The state of TX is loaded most years but in '22 and '23 it's insanely deep with talent. Wallace and Arterio Morris are underrated big time. Morris got call from UK last weekend and I'm expecting Wallace will get an offer after this weekend if not after tomorrow's game against Sharpe. He's someone who should've already been offered IMO. (same with Morris).

When it comes to guards, Cal needs to listen to Jai/Chin and trust. Chin offered Wallace already at Illinois and Lucas has wanted Wallace to have an offer for some time now.

E1T1 is routing the NJ Scholars (Dajuan Wagner's team) by about 35 pts right now. Wagner his having a bad shooting game 4-17 from field as game was still being played in latter stages.

Again Wagner Jr and most of teammates are playing up as many others are playing down at 16U but it speaks to how much more impressive Shaedon Sharpe was in putting 47 on E1T1 earlier this Spring in a win.
