They went through the SEC East Schedules. All they said about UK is how easy our schedule is. When they went through the other teams schedule and discussed games to look our for our name never came up. Pretty much we will have 4 (non conference wins) and could win several other games but not any of the big name games. You would think Florida / South Carolina / Mizzou have just beaten the pulp out of us. Said it is hard to win at Mizzou and other places but did not mention Kentucky besides we have an easy schedule. If we went 12 and 0 they would come up with excuses of why we won all our games no doubt. Pathetic.

Until CMS can figure out a way to beat TN at least half the time and stop $hitting the bed after every open date against teams like SC and MS. State, UK will never get any positive recognition from SEC talking heads.

Losing to Old Miss and South Carolina last year was inexcusable. Getting blown out by UT was a program defining moment for CMS.

He and he alone can change the narrative of UK football.

Love CMS and glad he is our coach, but he has a ceiling right now that he must find a way to break through for UK football to gain any respect in the SEC or nationally.

I think you guys are going from one extreme to another here. A couple of games UK played at less than 100%. Those games ended up being unexpected losses. UK could have easily been 10-2 or better if healthy all year. Very few teams can lose their starting QB without a considerable dropoff, UK is no exception.

Totally agree about last year. But, CMS has yet to win a SEC West road game in his tenure at UK, which there is no excuse for. We are 0 for against Old Miss and Mississippi State in the state of Mississippi.

We have 2 wins against TN in the worst decade of TN football.

We are 0 for against Georgia. We lost to MF'in Vandy last year. Inexcusable.

The Op was complaining about why we get no respect from the talking heads. It is not just about last year. It is about the full body of work in over a decade with no SEC championship game.........ever!!

How long would Georgia fans make excuses and be ok with a coach who has the same SEC record as CMS???

Like I said, I love CMS and hope he finishes his career here. But to say his program at UK hasn't hit a ceiling is just not being honest.

Hoping Liam and Leary can help turn that around this year. I will be rooting for them. Go Cats.

We went a long time without a championship and Richt was fired for not winning one, he was let go for what happened his last UF game. Jim Donnan was fired for being 1-4 against Tech. So I am sure lots of complaining, but no quick action.

If Richt had not taken a disaster to that UF game and stayed a couple more years UK would have won some East titles. Richt teams didn't fare well against physical teams. I explain the west record. Divisions are gone after this year, so good or bad those will no longer mean anything.

If uk has the recruits uga has them I would expect and sec championship appearance. But uk doesn't. Stoops is a great coach but a huge part of the game is jimmies and joes, Xs and Os will only take you so far. I agree on all your other points but expecting a conference championship when consistently finishing 12 or worse is recruiting just isn't realistic.

Thanks Grumpy, it's refreshing to read things about football from someone that actually understands the game of football. Stoops has done an amazing job of building a foundation at UK that's completely changing the things in the SEC East for the near future. Rome wasn't built over night, but those that think UK is the same as years ago, without depth, they're in for a rude awakening. UK now has a quality offense and defense no matter what any pundits say. It's very possible they will lose one they should win and win one or two that surprises everyone.

That’s what UK fans do. I mean we have pretty much owned South Carolina over last 8yrs. Only 2 we’ve lost to them we didn’t have a QB for either. But according to some we keep shitting the bed against them. How can you take them serious? Yes, last year sucked. We had Levis playing on one leg and with one arm for most of the season. Coupled with the worst Oline Stoops has fielded. And still a few breaks could have won 9 games. Yeah we all want more what fan doesn’t. But you have to be realistic.

I didn`t see the show, but maybe they were talking about our OOC schedule, because it looks easy. But with our conference schedule they need to be.

Missouri and Vandy will be tough outs this year and Florida now has a solid qb. South Carolina blew out UT who always kicks our ass no matter what. Every game is a toss up. Very tough schedule if you ask me
