Oweh is back

I will admit that I was wrong. I'm sorry. However I also said "However I am hearing that he is starting to have some doubts." And I said this an hour or two before he decided to comeback.
Were you wrong on purpose? You don’t care enough to tell us? I think you said people were going to need to apologize to you, right? Maybe you need to make a few apologies instead, huh?

Don’t
Anyone that doesn't have bigkyfan10 already on ignore hasn't been paying attention. Dude went from crying about the Pope hire and comparing the losses to Billy Gs to disappearing late Feb for months only to pop up after the season to complain about the portal commits and next year's team and now to dropping "insider" info on Oweh. Absolute waste of time reading their posts.
Don’t forget his post about our poor shooting.

Your source was so close to the situation (👀), that they were able to see how distraught Oweh was in making his final decision, understanding that he "was having doubts." I can't imagine the emotional turmoil he was feeling, having no real ideal of whether or not he wanted to turn down $3.5 million for that two-way contract worth $600,000 and some nice sleepless nights at the Best Western during road games while playing for the prestigious Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Thank you for keeping up posted, friend! 👍
Be gracious in your victories. Aka your optimism for predicting his return (absurd numbers aside). No one blasted you for your likewise assertions on Reed and all the threads and posts there. Play it cool big guy, we’re all on the same team. Welcome back Oweh!

You were absolutely positive last night. You even demanded that I apologize to you.

You were gloating over Oweh being gone. In a world where you could have reasonably chosen either option, you chose to gloat about how you knew Oweh was gone.

You just don't come back from that in 24 hours. You need to be put into the timeout corner of shame.
I’ll second that, give him a 3 month ban. All these wannabe insiders are getting out of hand.

I think you are underestimating Hawthorn. He may not be a starter, but he is going to get some minutes.
I don’t doubt that. My real point was to mean that we are so loaded there isn’t anyone on the roster not capable of competing at a high level. Pope learned his lesson with the injuries and built this roster to truly be able to withstand them if they happen.

Just remember that Oweh wasn’t even figured to be the teams best most consistent player going into the season last year. He figured to be #6 or 7. Most figured a lineup of Butler, Robinson, Brea, Carr and Williams was going to lead us. Oweh turned out to be the most consistent player of the bunch. Just think if we see similar leaps from some of these newcomers along with our returning guys.

I agree with you but the guy he is talking about didn't just make a wrong prediction, he claimed he had a source and KNEW Oweh wasn't coming back, and that no one else knew what they were talking about if they disagreed with him. So that guy deserves some grief in my opinion. It's one thing to be wrong, quite another to be an a$$hat while doing so.

I should have been more specific. I don’t think he is going to be the last guy off the bench. I think he is ultimately going to get more minutes than Potter and Moreno. He may not be the offensive threat Johnson is, but he has a better all around game. The only thing he is lacking is weight.

I would not be surprised if he beats someone to be in the rotation

If he can get some muscle to be like 195 pounds in season starts, he should be strong enough to play some minutes in regular rotation

Skill and length was never problem of him

Kam vs Hawthorne vs Oweh in practice will be hard fights every day
I love Kam and Braydon’s reach and height. They indeed will give whoever they are guarding fits. Something we did not have last year.

That just happened to be the comment I quoted. I bit my tongue on a dozen others. None have to do necessarily with the initial commenter. I digress. It’s the principle, pot meet kettle. But, I’m not trying to start a riot. I’d say the same thing in person.

Speak for yourself, I said Oweh was my favorite pick up last year and that he would be our best player. Nowadays it's so hard to tell how each team and player are going to look in new environments so I have to celebrate any time I have a prediction come true lol
