So what have our rivals who "do it the right way" been up to the last few years while Kentucky has been busy "killing college basketball"?

1. North Carolina - PJ Hairston receiving illiegal benefits from known felon, guns, pot, suspect player relationships with rich dentist, Hansbrough's mom, McCants, greatest academic scandal in NCAA history, etc.

2. Duke - The Sulaimon situation, Lance Thomas and his unsecured $65,000 loan and $30,000 cash to buy $100,000 in jewelry. Of course, regarding Thomas, the question no one has ever asked is how could a guy who (at the time) had no guarantee of being drafted feel comfortable splurging $100,000 on jewelry? I guess we now know why Okafor was so excited about the prospect of going to Duke and rooming with a billionaire. There are a lot of perks to being BFFs with the mega-rich - and yes - Duke has a lot of them.

3. Louisville - Behanan and his BMW, flunked drug tests, auctioned F4 ring, pot-head Ware and his booster wheels, Chris Jones situation.

4. Kansas - Three players in the last 4 years who were found to be (or family members were found to be) receiving impermissable benefits. Selby and his handler, McLemore and his relationship with agent Blackstock - which even KU fans know they got off easy on. Now rumors that Alexander's parents took money from an agent. Throw in assistant coach Jerrance Howard's pot arrest last Summer (and hiding it).
