Has been atrocious. We got lucky with Levis. You have to be able to develop QBs. They are the face of the program and we haven't developed on since he has been here. That has to be fixed. THe QBs have killed us tonight.

Sawyer Smith was good for like a half against Florida until he got hurt trying to tackle after throwing an interception. Drew Barker was good for like a half until he got hurt. Lynn Bowden threw a game winning pass in the Virginia Tech bowl game. Terry Touchdown had a good game against Florida.
But that's all they did... We need a starting SEC QB that can read defenses and make play's to the receivers and run when it breaks down...

Spent 2 million DOLLARS on a backup 5 star should have went a different direction bought a OL and a proven winner at QB
Not being able to develop ANY HS QB is the very reason Coach Stoops has STALLED this program's ascent. In today's game the QB position is the MOST important in ANY sport!!!
Of course you have to have an o=Line to protect him, but without a QB that can improvise and read the defense PRE AND POST snap, our team will NEVER reach a higher level!!

I’m rooting for Levis and he is a tough kid, but honestly, even he was just average. Still struggles with reading the field, accuracy, etc same as he did here
Ole Smitty was probably as good as any.
Should have went for a QB that didn't just ride the bench. Even if we had to look at a lower tier QB. Worked for Vandy. If the OL doesn't get better we will have to go back to the Bowden offense with a mobile QB. Especially if we refuse to get rid of Stoops.
Western usually has and gets good QBs.
Or they are just good at developing them. We are the worst team in the country by a mile at developing QB's.
Yes, over the last dozen years WKU has had better QBs than we have had…unbelievable

Nik Scalzo - 0 career passing yards
Beau Allen - 132 career passing yards
Kaiya Sheron - 192 passing yards and 2 TD’s
9 QB’s. 902 passing yards. In their entire FBS career. That's really bad.

That’s horrendous….but what about the kid from Somerset, Sheron? Wasn’t he signed out of HS?
That’s an awesome list of stellar QB’s that we actually got excited about them coming to UK. I thought Barker was going to be a special player for us over that whole list.
