Check this stat out on coaches getting fired in the NBA. Looking like there will be more coaches getting fired Wizards, Kings, Lakers lol

Want to know why coaches want long-term deals? Now more than 35 coaching changes since 2013, 5 in-season this year before All-Star break.

Derek Fisher fired after a year and a half. Took over a team that was on the down swing and was expected to suck. They were actually better than expected this year and still gets fired.

It used to be that you could make more money coaching in the NBA. I suppose in some cases that is still true. However, with that being equal I have always thought college was a better gig. You have to trade of the downside of recruiting with the upside of job security.
