OT: Reds hire Terry Francona

I doubt he's coming out of retirement without some sort of guarantee he'll have a competitive roster. Krall has needed to quit sitting on his hands for a long time and maybe this could be the start
Reds could have a competitive roster if they could quit being one of the most injured teams in baseball year in and year out. They need to overhaul their training and medical staff as well. But i also think they need to solidify players at their positions. Having 17 shortstops playing every position on the field isn't a recipe for winning.

That's been my biggest gripe. The draft all shortstops and CFs has got them where they have nobody who has even started to try to master 1 position. Elly doesn't seem like a natural SS to me and India is solid but a weak arm with not a ton of coverage out at 2nd. Those are the 2 most solidified to a position guys they have and that's extremely underwhelming in the field to me
