OT: Lamar Fumbled.....again

That was a team loss for Baltimore, and a team victory for Buffalo. Should've gone to OT, but it didn't. Great game
I think Lamar played pretty solid. Had a bad interception early and the fumble but the weather conditions were awful and he wasn't the only one to fumble. Drove them to the tying TD late and threw a very catchable ball to Andrews to send the game into OT. Not his fault the guy dropped it.
I've been very vocal about LJ's shortcomings in big games, but yesterday was not one of those games, imo.

Not going to put the L on Lamar, he played his ass off, clearly out played Allen. He had his team in it with a chance to win. He over came both of his turnovers and played solid. Andrews makes that wide open catch, we could be talking about a completely different situation. The turnovers did NOT cost them the game, they still had a shot to win in the end.
3-5 in the playoffs. Same story every year, but I'm fine with him retiring with 15 MVP awards and zero super bowls and a losing playoff record.
If you look at this fumble and the one vs UK they look almost exactly the same. Trying to regain/hold his footing and dropped the ball in both cases
The idiot announcers were saying it was "stripped" out when he just flat out dropped it like it was hot.
It hurt but not all on him. Andrews has two fumbles in his career and yesterdays was very costly. The dropped 2 pt conversion was worse. If you never watched an NFL game before yesterday you'd think Andrews is one of the worst players in the league. Nothing could be further from the truth.
It did look similar. I have to admit my reaction to his fumble yesterday was just a bit less enthusiastic than against UK. 😀
Running the ball ? Jackson threw a 24 yard TD with 1:50 to go. Henry only rushed for 84 yards the whole game. Well below what he has been doing.
Jackson 18/25 254 yards / 2 TD's / 1 INT / 39 yards rushing
Allen 16/22 127 yards / 0 TDs / 0 INTs / 10 rushes for 20 yards 2 TDs (1 yard run / 3 yard run)
Like I said, he out played him. The final drive was ALL Lamar Jackson.

The only run was by Lamar Jackson on the 2nd play. Then 6 straight passes capped off with the 24 yard TD. Exactly how did the running game bring them back ?
I’m not a big Jackson fan but he didn’t cost them the game. But Andrews did. Andrews is a good player, but he had two bad plays!
Agree. His dropped 2 point conversion attempt and the fumble as the Ravens was driving, was very costly. At least Lamar's mistakes happened early and did not have as huge of an impact on the games ending.
I personally like Jackson and LOVE watching him play. He's electrifying with the football in his hands. That said, it wasn't all on him, but it was another multi-turnover game for him in another loss on the big stage. The scoop and return of his fumble resulted in what was likely a 10-14 point swing in a 2 point loss.
