For workers, it is suffering. I know. Manufacturing is slowing to a crawl up here, and if you're not making stuff, you're not shipping it.What segment of the air cargo industry is suffering? Everything I read says it is growing robustly and in need of workers.

I'd stay in Alexandria tbh. I live in Campbell County and it is way less busy than Florence.
It is growing though...my guess is it will be a miniature Florence in 20 years.

I realize now that it was strictly for basketball reasons that all those problems have sprung up over the past four years.
I've lived in the area for about 50 years, Born in Villa Hills, lived in Florence for a couple years and then Ft Mitchell. Now i live on the other side of the river, Pm or email any questions you have and i'll happily lead you down a path of living where you are getting what you want out of your area
I have lived in Burlington and Hebron area. I work in Cincinnati and decided 4 years ago to move back to Lexington area, actually Winchester. Still work in Cincinnati, it is worth the drive for me. You go north of Grant County and it becomes more of a northern attitude. Not everyone but 3 to 1 northern leaning. I would rather be in the more southern manners and charm.
But Burlington has great schools and such. Union has great schools and such. I do not like Florence. FT Mitchell is nice as well. But Burlington / Hebron is the closest to Florence. I spent from 2007 to 2018 in Burlington. Great parks and walking, great for pets. Easy to shopping. If you want to live in like a more town feel then go up to Main Strauss Covington area. Get a place and walk to restaurants and over to Cincy for events.
