Wow! I was hiking the Auxier Ridge in the Gorge during that game. I remember searching for a signal for score updates.
I was a freshman at UK that year and at that game. Best environment I’ve ever been a part of.
Carolina fans always said if Marshall didn't get hurt, they would have won. We could say the same about DA and Poytress.

AD erased a lot of problems. Typical Calipari problem with Teague missing the second FT of a close game. That team was fantastic and one of the best ever don’t get me wrong, but later seasons without that talent level reminded me off those problems there.
What a great time to be a student. 2011-2015 was a hell of a run.
I remember that game, i had just broken four toes on my left foot, Had it propped on a pillow and about jumped off the couch when AD blocked Henson,
Yeah it was insane. I knew we were winning it that year after that play. You could just tell that team could lock down whenever they wanted. That was one of the many times during Cal’s first 7 seasons that I ran around the neighborhood screaming go Cats after a huge win. Especially going to the final 4 wins and NC games!

Compare that to my time, which was the end of Tubby and Billy G. I guess you could all that a run of hell.
I’d say only a couple good moments there. University of Jodie Meeks being the best.
I sure enjoyed my graduate work from 96-2000! Lotta late-night celebrating on Euclid Ave!
