OMG ul fans!!!!

Here's a great quote from one of their moral geniuses.

What is there for the NCAA to penalize regarding Bowen? Coaches and AD fired, player never entered a game for us, no one associated with the school sent money, no final punishment from StripperGate yet.

Paraphrasing. If you get caught cheating before they player plays, then it's okay as long as you fire the coaches. Nothing more to do. Start cheating again and hope you're caught before they hit the court. smh

They don't get to pick the violations they should or should not be punished for, how about follow the rules and quit cheating to win. Then they don't look as stupid for saying such things, Louisville has only one option, accept the fact that they are going to pay dearly for what they have done.

What a statement from the Losevile board ."After all the NCAA has done to us, how can any of you think they are going to look at those technicalities and say "welp, Louisville's got us this time - can't do much of anything to them on this one. Maybe next time..."

They want to argue that the money came from Adidas, not UL, and since the coaches and AD have been fired they shouldn't really get punished. Some of them even think there weren't any rules broken! The two facts they seem to forget are 1) An assistant coach is on video coordinating the payments to Bowen with an Adidas rep, and 2) The program was on probation! They can try and convince themselves they will be ok but the NCAA is gonna bring the hammer.

Exactly. Just because they were appealing the ruling doesn't mean it wasn't already handed down.

What a sweet little naive community they have over there. I can't even believe people with even a limited exposure to the NCAA and how it operates could type those words in that order. Boggles the mind, really.

UK Basketball was brought to its knees over $1,000 to a recruit and a fraudulent ACT score.

So what is hookers in dorms (30+ times over 4 years and paid for by the school) and $100,000 for one kid and $150,000 for another worth? Those are 'technicalities'?

And people wonder why our country is in the shape it is in. UofL fans, the NCAA and UNCheat are just a microcosm of where our morals and ethics have devolved to in this country. Truth be told, a segment of our fan base would probably try to justify our transgressions if they occurred as well (Not worried about it with Sandy Bell and Cal). It is really just morally bankrupt and pathetic.

"Logic dictates that the NCAA must prove a coach knew about Bowen. Thus far, the only evidence is conflicting.

Otherwise, If you want to make the leap that we’re on the hook for the actions of a third party because they’re our athletic apparel provider than you’re delusional. Hell, not even Adidas knew, it’s only one of their employees. You can think that everyone at Louisville knew because it fits your narrative, but at worst, the only evidence so far is against Rick.

To that end, the FBI monitored these guys for 2 years and only 3 months before the conclusion of the investigation did Louisville get implicated. If we were complicit in the scam it certainly stands to reason we’d come up before June 2017."

A.) The Galt House
B.) Jurich's daughter was a rep for Adidas.
C.) In the F.B.I. recording it was said, "We're (UofL) on probation, so we have to be careful."

 Please continue UofL fans.

After Carolina everybody expects a pass. They should look at Ole Miss.

If it is/was a violation, are the NCAA and FBI supposed to look they other way? It's soon going to be time to sit in the penalty box for a major in-fraction..Accept it and fold that banner up and put it away..End of story...

UofL "cut ties" with Andre McGee. NCAA STILL came down on them.

Not sure why their fans think because UofL fired Pitino and Jurich then this would all go away.

there is a lot of ignorance and stupidity in that thread

Haven't read their board in years but that could be said about every thread they have ever had. Had to quit reading their drivel, I was feeling dumber for having done so.

How were they able to do that? He was working for UMKC at the time the book came out.

The best think for the state will be for the University of Louisville to concentrate on education and not being the City's "Pro" sport fix. The city and state need the school to generate quality graduates so real companies are wanting to relocate.

The Pro Soccer team is start, get an NBA and the City is progressing. I have no doubt that the City a STATE would get behind an NBA team. Why not. If Memphis can support an NBA team we can, we have the best facility in the World for it

Good point. How about "cut ties?"

I'm just saying that just because the problem children are gone, then it doesn't mean their mess goes away too.
Agreed. UofL fans are a special breed of special. They have convinced them that even the most egregious level of cheating can be excused if you just try hard enough.

Are they still claiming UK paid AD 200K? Do they know any deposited check over 10K gets reported to the IRS? I think we've all known for sometime UL is a win at any cost school. They fired their basketball coach and AD. Too bad they can't fire some of their fans.

I wish U6 would sue the UNCAA for unequal application of its rules. They'ed lose of course, but I would love to see how the UNCAA defended itself after their UNCheat ruling.

Yeah and one employee can .give out 500k and nobody else at Adidas will ever know it.

Someday UL and its fans will come to the realization they are a nobody in the ACC. If they were Duke or UNC this type of behavior would not even be investigated. But they are not so they pay the piper. Tough but when you are a nobody in this world those things happen.
