It's not going too- Vanderbilt will hang around- we spotted Ole Miss about like LSU spotted Tennessee only difference is Kiffin wishes he had the Tennessee offense.
That interception by Dart was there for UK all last week somehow we let him float it all day.

You should know that if a team can't hit an extra point, field goals and fumbles twice inside the red zone and YOU still only lose by 3-- that team cannot be too good.

Ole Miss isn’t that great, UK should have won that by at least 2 touchdowns.
And would have if we had executed just one out of any 7 or 8 plays. We were God awful and it’s sad. I love Stoops but to lay an egg of that magnitude with C-Rod back was really disappointing.
By the way, the MSU game is now looking like an L, the UT game is most assuredly an L, and not even Vandy and Mizzou are givens this year.
Agreed, I’ve always thought Stoops is a good recruiter but a very mediocre coach. Thankfully most of the East has been down recently.
I love stoops too but he and Cal share similarities no matter how BBN likes to deny it. Both are stubborn as hell, headstrong, and play stall ball/ play not to lose at times. It drives me nuts. Absolutely nuts.
Go back and watch the game. Valentine resorted to playing 10 yards off the line of scrimmage again, and as soon as the ball was snapped, he turned his back to the receiver and sprinted toward the other goal so as not to get beat deep.
I could have floated those sideline passes up and completed them the way we defend that route.

That’s just how White rolls. I understand the philosophy of “bend don’t break” but it WILL get you beat by a thousand cuts sometimes. Especially if your offense can produce. That’s when you end up losing games to scores like 9-6 or 15-14. Infuriating water torture losses. Sure it sucks ass to lose and lose 42-17. But then you just tip your hat to the better team. Losing close rock fights to teams you should beat becaue you play cushion ball is maddening.
Miss State burned our rear ends last year. Wasn't close to being a rock fight.
We were never in the game due to our inability to get pressure on the QB and/or defend the 8 yard out pass.

Stoops has never beaten an SEC West team on the road. If UK was on that side of the conference, he’d have been fired by now. Way harder than the East.
Ole miss woke up. Not a surprise. And the west isn't that tough this year other than msu and bama. Ole miss could easily go 10 and 2 or 11 and 1.
