We blitz too much really. We probably blitz safeties more than any team in the nation. It served us well so far this year but Georgia has us really off balance. We're out of position and our blitzed are getting picked up (when we don't stop ourselves by inexplicably stopping)

We have no one on the edge that can get to the passer.

It's true about recruiting. We get "good" classes and we develop what we have pretty good - but we will never, ever get through this SEC East glass ceiling until we start getting a top-10 class here and there.

I hate how Tennessee basketball can have one good run in the tournament and rack in 5 stars, but when Kentucky wins the Citrus Bowl, they get a few four stars and a load of three stars.

Totally agree. We've lived with our middle backers getting pressure but no one is getting home. Jackson uncharacteristically ran right by some run plays on great blitz calls. Just frustrating all systems failure

As long we go bowling that will not change. Granted bowl games used to be rare, but I understand the frustration that haven't been able to take another step up.

Is the performance tonight more of the same from earlier games this season, or is the team we saw in the UF game closer to where we are? I don't see more than 1 or 2 wins left on the schedule.

I know where do some people come up with some of this stuff. Just because we as fans are concerned with where these coaches have taken the direction of the program that some how this doesn’t make us fans because we question these coaches. They should be questioned when they are making what they are a year and not producing to that level…. When you watch other programs fly past us when they’re paying there said coaches a helluva lot less money and there programs doesn’t hold prestige like our program does….

This is a good point. College football is so archaic with its post season (12 team playoff helps finally, but lagging way behind other sports and football at every other level) that for most football teams the end game goal each season is what?

Get to a better bowl that becomes even less relevant with the 12 team playoff?

Uk may have a shot at a 16 team playoff (inevitable IMO) but haven't seen anything to think Stoops can finish the deal and go 10 and 2 to make a 12 team playoff. 9 and 3 uk probably isn't getting in. Wouldn't have n 2018 or 2021.

The way his contract is structured, his primary goal will be to find any way possible to get one more win and he will financially satisfied for the year. He must realistically know that he doesn't have the ability to put together a legitimate staff to recruit and coach a real winner in this conference. He says all the right things but he's in over his head. The UK platform is a real opportunity for a real coach and coaches to build a real program to complete in this league. Everything is here except the coaches, which will translate into recruits. Just an observation and opinion. I hope I'm wrong.
