I don’t like this team. Not just because of tonight, though it doesn’t help, but the entirety of the season really. Burton is frustrating. Leary is frustrating. Brown makes me throw shit. Now our defense. This team has been a shit show all season, minus the running game against Florida. Which was incredible, and I’m glad we had it, but otherwise, what can we really hang our hats on. Unfortunately, I think it all adds up to a 7-5 season. Which is just one game off from my 8-4 prediction, but in my prediction we were a whole hell of lot better team. Lol
Says a lot, but mostly the secondary imo b/c Beck didn't have to wait around to throw much. But Walker did block a pass but then realized GA would have to punt so hit the hell out of a GA player so they could keep it instead.
That's called a dual threat and that is the trend these days.

The problem is that the Brown that you talk about is not running on a track team ... he's a receiver on a football team and he can't seem to catch the passes thrown somewhere in his neighborhood.

We blitz too much really. We probably blitz safeties more than any team in the nation. It served us well so far this year but Georgia has us really off balance. We're out of position and our blitzed are getting picked up (when we don't stop ourselves by inexplicably stopping)

... good for what? This is the SEC and that's our biggest problem. Stoops and Troops aren't gonna be able to get this done. Just a feeling and I don't like it.
As long we go bowling that will not change. Granted bowl games used to be rare, but I understand the frustration that haven't been able to take another step up.

Well, look at the bright side, at least the passing offense is still gawd awful and people will still believe that Stoops doesn’t have anything to do with that.
Not much of anyone. His guys are also wide open and we're getting no pressure. Big difference.
His crazy TD pass that went under review is a great example. No one in blue could've made that play, not even close.
That would require a coaching staff with guts to make that call and it will not happen ... at least I don't think so.
Next week is huge. The season rides o next week. Kentucky comes out and wins and they can still have a very good season
That is what i am saying. But ... if the team quits when things do not go their way, then 5-7 is more and more likely.
2nd half attitude will tell a lot.

It's true about recruiting. We get "good" classes and we develop what we have pretty good - but we will never, ever get through this SEC East glass ceiling until we start getting a top-10 class here and there.
This is a good point. College football is so archaic with its post season (12 team playoff helps finally, but lagging way behind other sports and football at every other level) that for most football teams the end game goal each season is what?
Get to a better bowl that becomes even less relevant with the 12 team playoff?
Uk may have a shot at a 16 team playoff (inevitable IMO) but haven't seen anything to think Stoops can finish the deal and go 10 and 2 to make a 12 team playoff. 9 and 3 uk probably isn't getting in. Wouldn't have n 2018 or 2021.
What I hate to hear is the excuses and empty explanations come Monday from this lousy coaching staff. Some old, same old. My takeaway in this game thus far is that FLORIDA REALLY SUCKS.
Ehh, I don’t think the gap between the 2 is as big as it’s been, but Kentucky still has lousiville beat in the trenches
