This entire game has straight up been balls. Scoring in this game seems like the hardest thing ever.
I don't think many have an issue at all with that. They have an issue with running again on 3rd down to get to that point where we had to take a FG. Heck, we could have taken a sack on 3rd down and still kicked that FG.
To be fair, we only had one half to work on things before the game. It’s still a work in progress and we’re only down a TD
I’ll take the 3 for right now because we desperately needed any kind of positive right now. We’re going to have to come up with some kind of gameplan to mix up our offense in the second half though. I don’t think falling back on a glorified service academy offense is ultimately going to get it done today.
The amazing thing is that any of us are surprised it looks like 11 of the other 12 years.

Good long drive. Took a little wind out of SC's sails. Moving the chains and owning line, at least from rung game standpoint, seems like it settled the O down. Took the pressure off BV who obviously came out a bit jittery in is first SEC action. Hamdan's play calling wasn't great to start out either...first SEC action for him to. It may be SC, but it's a different ball game compared to So Miss and whatever the f88k conference Boise St plays in.

But we've had a WEEK to prepare for USC. It's the constant look of unpreparedness that is frustrating. Mistakes will happen of course, but we've looked like we forgot we had a game today. The defense has done decently well minus that awful TD they gave up.
