We'll see how it goes but it doesn't seem to be to unpopular with Cal right now. He sat both DJ and Dillingham for a large chunk of clock.
We hear the same nonsense every year. Some of you guys were trying to claim Evansville was a Sweet 16 caliber team. NM State won't even make the tournament.
No he isn't. Everyone appreciates the player Oscar was but it was time for him to move on. This team will have a different style of play, and Oscar would clog things up. His style wouldn't fit. He's a defensive liability, can't stretch the floor on offense, and often took on three defenders down low and got stripped instead of kicking it back out.
Some act like it's a Dontai Allen situation but Reed is a 5 star mickey d boy.He will play a ton.

It's complete bullshit that a season can start and there are players still waiting to be cleared even though everyone in college basketball is basically getting paid now. Ridiculous.
Shep is a better basketball player than DJ Wagner. I think DJ will struggle at this level until he evolves his game a bit. The oddsmakers gave Reed better preseason NPOY odds than Wagner, for some perspective.

Hard to say how good they are or aren't really. But one thing is for certain. They aren't a sub 300 team like KU is playing.
