32-10 advantage in points off turnovers for OKC. Haliburton probably negates most of that by himself if he's on the court. Now he's probably out for most, if not all, of next season too.

Happy for SGA and Wallace at least.

6 points for Toppin and Turner combined. They average 26. Nesmith didnt step up either.
Turner’s conratct is up, they need to cut him, use what space they have and sign another Vet who wants a title but still plays at a good enough level to win one. Get Haliburton back maybe late next year and see what happens. If not set it up for the next year. They need one more guy IMo. A guy who is good enough to be a second scorer on a title team, but is comfortable being the third star. If you are the Pacers you have to go for it right now, it’s their window. If I were them I may even take a shot trading for Giannis right now. He’s comfortable playing in a small market and is good enough to carry them while Haliburton is out.

OKC's set up nicely for the future too with all key players under contract and a TON of first-round picks the next few years. Hartenstein's a solid big but they could easily upgrade there. Chet's going to get better with some physical maturity. It'll be interesting to see if they package some of those picks in a big trade. They built a championship team with a long window through the draft and great deals. The Paul George/SGA trade was the heist of the century.

I can't wait until the draft. I guess Shams won't be leaking the picks this year since there's no competition. I'll have his notifications on anyway.

Imo no way i pay chet. No way. Hes way too weak and injury prone. Hartenstein is a way better fit for the price, he just doesn't have the flash. I do agree they could upgrade but not sure they find a better value.

Sadly, it doesn't seem like hes gonna be back at all next year, and id wager even the following year hes going to be eased back in. Same with the Celtics and Tatum, Indiana likely needs to plan for the 26/27 year.

Its interesting that two of the top15 or so players, are already out for next year, with both of those franchises probably already out of contention, despite being two of the five or six best teams over the last few seasons. What does that mean for the NBA? Not sure. Could be looking at a little more mediocrity in the NBA next season.

Im obviously not a medical professional, but i wondered if hali's right calf strain was actually his Achilles all along.

Hats off to him for giving it a go but that injury is going to really hurt the pacers for next season.

Chet is getting paid. He played every game last season. He was on a monster this season before he broke his hip. He's not injury prone. Defensively he broke the Pacers last night.

Celtics still have a top 3 squad in the East. Once they figure out everyone's role, they'll be fine.

See I go opposite, Chet still has a lot to grow offensively and is only 23.

Gonna come down to game 7 at OKC. Games 1-6 just minutia unless somebody gets hurt. Rooting for the Pacers but SGA winning wouldn't piss me off either. I'll say OKC in 7. SGA at the free throw line with 2.2 seconds left for the W.
Not too far off. Haliburton getting hurt kept my SGA prediction at the FT line from happening...

I agree- he hasn't really showed me anything except he can block a guards shot- get pushed around by everybody, only gets rebounds that fall in his lap etc- not sure how long his contract is for but interesting to see what OKC does when he is eligible for an extension

I agree. Pacers stopped going to turner but turner was literally putting Chet through the baseline and laying it in. Plus he blocked a few of chets 3s. Turner barely got a touch last game so it helped chet have probably his best game of the series.
