sga couldn’t buy one and got 29. easy mvp.
Most IU fans are probably in shambles tonight. That's certainly a positive.Anytime any Indiana team loses,, it makes me happy.. Hate em,, the whole state..

****ing sucks man, Haliburton was playing well before he went down too. Just horrid luck.Siakam and Turner simply didn't step up. That and Obi having a disastrous game.
Oh well. Was a fun run. Indy sure does love the Pacers.
He definitely is, he’s got the perfect personality to play with too. No surprise he was our best player here, he’s always been kinda slept on and he just gets better.SGA really does seem like an elite teammate.
Turner’s conratct is up, they need to cut him, use what space they have and sign another Vet who wants a title but still plays at a good enough level to win one. Get Haliburton back maybe late next year and see what happens. If not set it up for the next year. They need one more guy IMo. A guy who is good enough to be a second scorer on a title team, but is comfortable being the third star. If you are the Pacers you have to go for it right now, it’s their window. If I were them I may even take a shot trading for Giannis right now. He’s comfortable playing in a small market and is good enough to carry them while Haliburton is out.6 points for Toppin and Turner combined. They average 26. Nesmith didnt step up either.
OKC's set up nicely for the future too with all key players under contract and a TON of first-round picks the next few years. Hartenstein's a solid big but they could easily upgrade there. Chet's going to get better with some physical maturity. It'll be interesting to see if they package some of those picks in a big trade. They built a championship team with a long window through the draft and great deals. The Paul George/SGA trade was the heist of the century.
I can't wait until the draft. I guess Shams won't be leaking the picks this year since there's no competition. I'll have his notifications on anyway.

That's their fault for living in that shitty state.. 🤷🏻♂You know how many UK fans are in Indiana? It's a lot more than you'd think.

Chet is getting paid. He played every game last season. He was on a monster this season before he broke his hip. He's not injury prone. Defensively he broke the Pacers last night.Imo no way i pay chet. No way. Hes way too weak and injury prone. Hartenstein is a way better fit for the price, he just doesn't have the flash. I do agree they could upgrade but not sure they find a better value.
Celtics still have a top 3 squad in the East. Once they figure out everyone's role, they'll be fine.Sadly, it doesn't seem like hes gonna be back at all next year, and id wager even the following year hes going to be eased back in. Same with the Celtics and Tatum, Indiana likely needs to plan for the 26/27 year.
Its interesting that two of the top15 or so players, are already out for next year, with both of those franchises probably already out of contention, despite being two of the five or six best teams over the last few seasons. What does that mean for the NBA? Not sure. Could be looking at a little more mediocrity in the NBA next season.
See I go opposite, Chet still has a lot to grow offensively and is only 23.Imo no way i pay chet. No way. Hes way too weak and injury prone. Hartenstein is a way better fit for the price, he just doesn't have the flash. I do agree they could upgrade but not sure they find a better value.
Not too far off. Haliburton getting hurt kept my SGA prediction at the FT line from happening...Gonna come down to game 7 at OKC. Games 1-6 just minutia unless somebody gets hurt. Rooting for the Pacers but SGA winning wouldn't piss me off either. I'll say OKC in 7. SGA at the free throw line with 2.2 seconds left for the W.
shot 8-27- not really sure he is a good shooter but uses the rules (go into the defensive guy to get space) and make enough 2 pt shots to be effectivesga couldn’t buy one and got 29. easy mvp.
I agree- he hasn't really showed me anything except he can block a guards shot- get pushed around by everybody, only gets rebounds that fall in his lap etc- not sure how long his contract is for but interesting to see what OKC does when he is eligible for an extensionImo no way i pay chet. No way. Hes way too weak and injury prone. Hartenstein is a way better fit for the price, he just doesn't have the flash. I do agree they could upgrade but not sure they find a better value.

The new owners are going to blow up that roster. They don't want to pay everyone.Celtics still have a top 3 squad in the East. Once they figure out everyone's role, they'll be fine.
