If we don't correct the things that we continue doing poorly game after game, this team isn't going to win an NC. We don't play very good defense and our poor shooters continue jacking up too many shots.

Everyone not named Bradshaw shot 50% or better in the half. Held our opponent to 31% shooting and 21% from 3. What were your arguments again? Rebounding was the only category that needed improvement and a ton of those long rebounds went right to Illinois State players. Not much you can do about that.

Cal's teams used to hang their hats on defense and rebounding. We've lacked in those areas in recent seasons. Yeah Oscar averaged a bunch of boards, but nobody else did it well. The defense is more mind boggling than the boards.
