There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR THIS AT KENTUCKY... NONE! Simmons BARELY played and we are down 10 to an average (at best) team!

You still want to criticize these two players as if there is anyone else on the team doing something to brag about. What has Briscoe done tonight? Other than hitting that wild drive to the basket, he has done nothing.

Wow at most of these posts. We play the worst half of basketball all year and we are only down 10 @ LSU against LeBron...I mean Simmons. Simmons having 2 points is all defense and once he went out our game plan went out the window. Cal will adjust and this will be a game in the second half and all of you idiots acting like Cal doesn't know what he is doing will go back into your holes atleast for a few more days.
Mulder needs to play. He's been a little spark tonight. No idea why cal pulled him. 5 points and 5 rebounds fast. He can jump and shoot. Make free throws.

Ulis or Murray should launch an NBA 3 every time they cross mid court. Could work.

Seldom-used Mulder gets 6 boards in 6 minutes and Poythress/Lee/Humpries/Willis have 4 for an entire half - awful.

Why have a guard that plays to get fouled but can't hit free throws . I don't get it.
Another fact is that those playing in front of them can't shoot and are playing half a$$ defense. If you don't like it then you go elsewhere.
Cal looked like he was about to puke. I know I am. That was one of the most pathetic half's of basketball I've ever seen a UK team play. Just gawd awful! If they don't care why should we?

That's because Skal doesn't play defense.
I just can't believe how worthless Skal has been for us. He does NOTHING, doesn't rebound, doesn't defend, doesn't score, and is softer than a baby's ass. Is the kid ever gonna wake up?
What is disappointing is that I thought we were turning the corner. We had been playing better defense and we had good ball movement, the last game. Tonight, our spacing is bad, and it shows in our passing, and not getting good looks at the basket. It seems like this team makes 1 or 2 steps forward and then takes 5 or 6 back. I just don't know if they are going to make a lot of improvement by tournament time. I hope so, but they are going to have to show it on the court, eventually.
I highly doubt it's because they don't care.
They just have some major issues right now.
