I knew it would be a dogfight. We should have won by 15+ but FT, Defense, and refs kept it close. You might dislike them as I do. but you have to give the Cards credit for their effort. They really showed a lot of heart. However, I am glad we stepped on it before giving it back to them.
I really think a lot has to do with the officiating we tend to get. Makes them afraid to really defendWe outscored our season average.
Impressive offensively, but the defense needs a wake up call.
They definitely out played/hustled us. Just missed a lot of open looks. You might dislike them as I do. but you have to give the Cards credit for their effort. They really showed a lot of heart. However, I am glad we stepped on it before giving it back to them.
They played their A+ game considering the circumstances. You might dislike them as I do. but you have to give the Cards credit for their effort. They really showed a lot of heart. However, I am glad we stepped on it before giving it back to them.
Seriously youve got issuesSuck it UL!
10 missed FTs is unacceptable though
Agree completely…they played a helluva gameYou might dislike them as I do. but you have to give the Cards credit for their effort. They really showed a lot of heart. However, I am glad we stepped on it before giving it back to them.
There is absolutely no way they will lose. Just cannot happen.UT down 3 with 4 to go.
It’s almost ALWAYS like this thoughI knew it would be a dogfight. We should have won by 15+ but FT, Defense, and refs kept it close.
Did you say open looks? We gave them all the looks they could possibly want. They thought they were going through the pregame shoot-around.They definitely out played/hustled us. Just missed a lot of open looks.

Just my opinion
Particularly Almanor. Started the year great but he’s basically given us nothing the last few weeks.Just 15 points from the bench (10 from Brea). We need more contribution from the subs.
He and Brea both sat a lot late.Notice, Amari was on the bench late in the game. He's not as good of a passer, but we get way more effort out of BG
I have noticed it too. There is a general sense of lackadaisical approach that is troubling. It is not an all-the-time thing, as they do sometimes show some hustle, but it's crazy how many times a loose ball or rebound will be right there and our guys just watch it or slowly go for it. I don't get it.Over and over. I love the win but this lackadaisical attitude has to stop.
I noticed several times on defense Williams wouldn't even lift his hands to contest shots 1 on 1.Notice, Amari was on the bench late in the game. He's not a good of a passer, but we get way more effort out of BG
Pat Adams should never call another game in Rupp.I really think a lot has to do with the officiating we tend to get. Makes them afraid to really defend
Just my opinion
Yes, Butler is back and thank goodness for that. We would have lost had he not been back.Agree completely…they played a helluva game
Hepburn is a guy id have loved to have on our team
But dayum..Butler is definitely back
I don't think we were THAT bad on defense.
A team shooting 28% from 3 on the season came in and hit a bunch more than 28% of their threes lol.
Just another reminder that 3s are always more random than 2s.
The Rupp curse lolI don't think we were THAT bad on defense.

Or anywhere else for that matterPat Adams should never call another game in Rupp.

We also need to keep Perry off the floor. The kid is clueless. He has no business being on the court at all this season.Particularly Almanor. Started the year great but he’s basically given us nothing the last few weeks.
