Great finish to the half. The exact opposite of our football team at the end of first halves lol. We got very lucky that last possession that we weren’t called for a 3 second violation. We had 2 guys stand in the paint for 7 seconds waiting for the clock to run down before they made their moves. I can’t believe Adam’s didn’t call it.

Announcers of several games have commented how important Reed is to the team and how he just makes things happen. But we have people on here who think because posters comment the same that somehow that is displaying a dislike for Wagner or some other player.

In my opinion, Reeves is the odd man out. Not Wagner, not Edwards. Reeves just seems to tighten up in big games.

Sure would be nice to have a full roster. If Wagner is hurt we are down what 5? Believe we had 1 scholarship not used. Hart will need to get some playing time to give the guys a break or for foul trouble if Wagner is gone for long. Hope he can come back this game.

Thiero was screening for Edwards away from the ball before the big run but yeah, those passing lanes are clogged. Run more screens and pick and roll with Mitchell.

I don't think Mitchell needs to be waving off his teammates. He can't create his own shot. Stay under the basket, and hit the occasional three from the top. Open up the outside for others.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again - if Mitchell gets more PT than Thiero when a big or two starts playing - that’s not good for UK winning basketball games.

He is a terrible defender. Probably the worst on the team. He doesn’t rebound. The shots he hits in the paint are shots that anyone on our roster can hit. When he’s not making his wide-open threes, he is a liability. On the year he’s now at 33.3% from deep. He is a good passer, and he has four assists in this game, but he also tends to make selfish plays rather than pass to the cutter or to a better three-point shooter.
