Because Cal took out Reed, who is at least half the brains of our play on both ends of the court, and then Edwards showed that he's behind on the offense. Justin turned to face the wrong end of the court, and ended up almost throwing it to a double-team.

Sheppard is twice the player Reeves is. Reed plays the same against Kansas and Miami as he does against Marshall. Can’t say the same for Reeves. Reeves has to get going.
